Status: offline 		Last night i was lucky enough for a Master of a local organization to take me and his slave into the Dungon of the club Master runs.This Master used a Violet wand with metal finger tips on me and the other slave (and other things too hehe but thats not the topic).It was very interesting and i fell weak to the senation.I'm really glad Master Thomas let the other couple borrow me.I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this tool and what they thought. Yes, it is one of my favorites. Master has a tinsel flogger that he uses with the wand....it is wonderful. Oh, and that sharp wheel thing....heaven. Of course the best is a "direct hit" to the clit.

The violet wnad is an incdeible device to use - the only cautions I would advise are:

Never on or near the eyes (I'd keep it away from the ears too) - the hair is fine.

Remove glasses and metal jewellry from the head.

Metal jewellry elsewhere intensifies the experience however the metal gets hot and can burn the skin. Depending on the 'volume' you've set it at, as well as the period of time you leaev it in a particular spot.

You can do temporary (whenever you burn the skin be prepared for it to become permanent) tattoos.

There are some safety tips to use for lighting alcohol on fire on the skin too but I'm not 100% on these - one of the main ones was nothing over 70%. I'm sure someone else will have more knowledge in this area :)

Other than that it is a wonderful tool to use - I've heard it's nice to be on the receiveing end too ;-)

Status: offline 		I really love the sensation of the violet wand when used as hand-to-flesh or lips-to-flesh.

The dental pic and wheel are a little too sharp for me to enjoy for very long, but they are a nice "tweak." The chain really makes me jump and after 10-12 times I am ready for the operator to move on. (This doesn't mean he or she will, but I am ready!)

I have had some burns, but the marks disappeared after 2-3 days. Sometimes after using it my nipples with crack and peel a day or so later.

Status: offline 		The first thing to understand with the wand is - the wand only creates sensation when there is a gap between the wand attachment and the body.

Plugging any of the attachments into the violet wand nozzle and grasping them firmly will result in no sensation. The second thing to remember is the bigger the surface area of the attachment, the less the sensation is felt since it is spread over a wider area.

With these two principles in mind, a good attachment to start with is the large globe. Its big size makes it the softest item in the violet wand kit. Start with the violet wand turned down to very low intensity and bring the globe into direct contact with the skin. No sensation will be felt. Slowly move the globe away from the body. You will notice as the distance increases, the sensation felt increases as well, until the distance becomes too far and the arc is broken.

The large globe is a great warm up item since almost anyone can take it. If you are playing with someone who is at all nervous about using electricity in a scene, this is the one to start with. At very low intensity, the large globe feels similar to the static forearm hair raising sensation of a balloon. Very few people would describe it as unpleasant and it is a good way to introduce someone to the wand without causing them a lot of anxiety.

After playing with the globe for a while, try moving on to the mushroom electrode or the probe electrode. Both of these violet wand attachments enable you to vary the sensation by changing how much of the electrode you present to the surface of the skin. Try the rake attachment using first all the tines of the rake then just one. Notice how the sensation gets more intense as fewer rake tines are arcing.
Remember the smaller the area of the electrode presented, the greater the sensation. Go through all the electrodes to become familiar with their sensations. It is a good idea to try them all out on yourself before playing with someone else and the violet wand.

Status: offline 		My former master had two boxes of attachments, it was his baby and he gave it more attention than me :). Because of him, just the smell of ozone gets me turned on. He even had a bulb that had a smiley face with a santa hat on it and gloowed red.l I actually got burnt out on it for awhile. But it is one of the most versatile and awesome toys out there.

I have tried the violet wand on my forearm and i loved the sensation it gave, so i can imagine a direct hit on the clit

The tinsel flogger seems to be something very interesting and yummy. I am sure my Dom would be interested in this too. May i ask where we can find that wonderful tool?

Try QUALITY CONTROL in Birmingham UK ...sorry we do not have their websit address, but a little research will get you there, we are sure.

The wand by itself no, you need an attachment that the receiver can grab onto that is plugged directly into the wand. Most deluxe kits come with this.

Go to a store that carries cheerleader supplies. Get a mylar aluminized pom pom.

One approach is to drap it over the rake attachment. In this the top is not part of the circuit and has to be careful not to touch the strands himself.

Another approach is for the dom to use the violet wand to electrify him- or herself, hold the pom pom in his or her hand and whip you. This is less intense but this way the dom can't get shocked.

I dearly love violet wand play. Especially when the Dom grounds himself and his fingertips carry the current to my skin. Kissing is a very electrified thing to say the least if he's carrying the current. The cool thing is you know he's feeling the zapping also.
My skin is very sensative so using the wheel, knives, or any metal object actually leaves scratches that take about a week to dissapear.
My nipples also scab and peel after playing with one there. I just love how tender they are the next day.
One day I'll own my own, but for now I'm glad I have friends that have them.

Ok feeling kinda foolish here.. what the hell is this violet Wand? I mean it sounds interresting enough..but just what is it? Where can i go to see and read about this?

I'm begining to think I spend too much time reading this forum... lol

I laugh myself to tears when I think of all the missed years of being not allowed to experince things i read about on here. And it makes me all that much eager to want to try things.

Status: offline 		Master bought a Violet Wand and I love it when She uses it on me. my reaction depends on the attachments being used. Most of the attachments i just giggle. LOL!! The ones that i really really like are the wartenburg wheel and a chain (like a fan pull) that She drags across my body. i remember the first time we played with it. Master got a kick out of the wartenburg wheel. i squirmed so much when She used it. After a couple of days, i had noticed that the use of the wartenburg wheel had left a trail of pin sized burn/scab marks from my wrist to the top of my arm. And me being the freak i am kept admireing them in the mirror...LMAO!! The Violet Wand is alot of fun in my opinion. Oh and the attachments are unlimited. Master went to Home Depot and bought some florescent lights to use. The Violet Wand came with an attachment that She wears near Her hip that allows HER to be the Wand. When She holds the Florescent light bulb it lights up!! So neat! and it lights up when She touches it to my body too. So cool with different colors. What made Her want The Violet Wand was a demonstration that we both saw in the Leather Tent at The San Diego Gay/Lesbian Pride Festival.

The major part of the trick is to warm the alcohol so there are a lot of fumes. I also use high purity rubbing alcohol.... 90%+ range

Huh? Jenny, are you talking about the wand, or about the lower-voltage, hi-amperage probes. Those things can BURN. (Talk about smoking after sex.)

Granted my use of wands has been limited, but their voltage is ultra high (60-75,000v) and their current is low (probably micro-ampres). They're more like sustained static electricity.

It is possible to construct a 15-25,000v device that throws a thick spark capable of igniting wood or heavy cardboard, but you're talking a heavy transformer weighing kilogram or more and not a handheld device. It won't kill you, but it should both burn you and knock you across the room.

The probes I seen are nasty devices, usually only 24v or so, but they can chatter your teeth. I don't recommend vaginal use unless you're dating an electrical engineer.

The wand is the only truly save device. It should be able to light a florescent tube if you place one near the other and do other tricks. It should set fire.

So, I'm mystified. What was your dom using?
