Thank you, everyone. I must strive to graduate beyond this shameful soft serve cone, if only by posting inane comments. I wonder if anyone on here knows anything about the elusive Reno munches.

It's true that munches in Reno are elusive... The main munch group can be found on this Yahoo group. It takes quite a while to pass their application process, since some of the members are concerned about their privacy. They meet every second Saturday of the month. They had their January meeting yesterday - I only wish I'd found your message earlier... Like I said, the application process is a long one (took me two months...), but there's a way around it - you could come to the munch with one of the regular members. If you wish, I could vouch for you and get you the instant membership.

A few years ago, there was a bit of a conflict in the munch group, and some of them split off to form a second group entitled PowerMunch. :) They aren't as concerned about privacy and post their meeting time and place on craigslist (last time I checked, they still didn't have their own site). If I remember correctly, they meet for dinner on the last Monday of each month - this month it'll be on the 26th.

Both munches are held in local restaurants. Message me if you'd like to know more or have any questions. :^D

Hello all... my first post here, and I'm VERY new to this scene... it was recommended by a friend.

I have to ask... what's a Munch?

Hello, Stone. It's generally recommended that you start a new thread if you ant to introduce yourself rather than piggybacking onto a year old thread.

That said, a "munch" is a get together of kinky people who meet in a vanilla setting and don't act kinky then. Because there's no play, there's no pressure on newbies to do anything other than talk.
