I love the looks I get when I tell people that I have seen every twilight zone episode ever made, and most of them twice.  Me being 22, people think that I shouldn't even KNOW about the show! lol

I love them all.  I don't remember the titles, but a few of my FAVORITES were already mentioned, Time Enough At Last, Eye of the Beholder, and To Serve Man.

I also love the one that the Ballerina, the clown, the I believe school teacher and soldier are all trapped in this round room that doesn't seem to have a roof.  They are all blaming each other for the fact that they are there because they don't know who they are, or why they are thier.  Then, one manages to escape. Only to come back.  I don't want to tell the end, just because I'm like that.  lol  If you haven't seen it, keep watching the SciFi network. I'm sure it will be on. One of the best!!

And I liked Lithgow's version of that soooo much better. The Shat can't act.  Never could, never will. lol

"Five Characters In Search Of An Exit" is the title of that one.  SPOILER ALERT!!!! It tells the ending!

I've actually never seen it but just saw it on a "best of" list.  Thanks for the tip.  I'll check it out[:)]...............luci

AHA, I finally found the title I was searching for.  "Nick of Time" (another Richard Matheson jewel) was on during the second season and again starred "The Shat."  It's about a superstitious newlywed husband who finds a penny fortune-telling machine that makes uncannily accurate predictions about his life (according the the Sci-Fi Channel site blurb).  Another excellent episode and, as a librarian, I love, love, love "The Obsolete Man" about a librarian in the future who is declared "obsolete."  NEVER!!!!![8D].....................luci

I love the one with Agnes Morehead, where she never actually speaks a word.  Living alone in a house on a hill, when a spaceship lands.

Yep, that's one they show alot.  There's hardly any dialogue in that and it really showcased Morehead's acting.  Here's a link:

According to the Sci-Fi schedule, it'll be airing about 10:24 CST tonight!!!!

that was the scariest one for me. i love reading . and thought the episode cruel. my #1 pick also.

On the Sci-Fi Channel, there is currently a "Twilight Zone" marathon.  I love that old show and have so many favorite episodes.  If I had to pick just one, it would have to be "Time Enough At Last" where Burgess Meredith plays Henry Bemis,
a henpecked book lover who finds himself blissfully alone with his books after a nuclear war (according to IMDB).  The twist at the end is that his coke-bottle glasses fall off and break and he can't see to read them [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m17.gif[/image].  He finally had all the time in the word and then cruel fate[&o].

Anyway, it got me to thinking about what some others' favorites might be.  It's hard to choose I know but what would be your pick for number 1?

Just curious.................luci
