I have been a perv for a long time, but there are still things that I have never done due to lack of opportunity, or lack of interest in the past.   What would you like to try this year, or drag out of the toybag again?

Someone put a bug in My ear a few months back about fire flogging.  I've gotten a few generalizations about it, but it's not something I would try without some direct instruction.  I'd also like to have some better skills at predicament bondage.  I mean, rope work is pretty and all, but I'm more interested in ties that torture.

I would like to spend time learning how to ratchet up my pain tolerance and become more comfortable with anal (this is mostly service based, as I just don't see it ever being as much fun for me as vaginal sex, but for him, I really want to learn). Also, an idea that only recently became intriguing that we haven't really pushed is breath play.

I'm thinking of trying some rope bondage.  I know, I know!  You're all thinking "WHAT?  You've never done that?  What kind of Mistress are you?"  I've always been more into chains and leather because of the 'quick in and out' aspects.  I always considered all that tying people up stuff to be a big waste of my precious little play time.   Now that my family is making less demands on my full attention and time, maybe I can get away more often and spend a little more quality time setting things up with my boy instead of rushing straight to 'the good stuff', hurry up and get back to the house before anyone really notices that I'm gone.

This year, I would like to explore fire play (including incorporating the violet ray) and cupping.  I'd also like to expand my rope skills.

I am currently working on a total dependency lock up situation.  I had never been interested in total control or management all the time so this idea had to kind of grow on me as I thought about needs and concerns and how it could be done and what benefit it all might be.  There will be limitations so I can't go all out... but it should be interesting and hopefully at times, the ultimate in mind fucks!  It will be three weeks to a month of total control and play date.  I do have to say, I think I am more excited about it than even he is and that is pretty excited!

This year we'll be going out into the community more--play parties and such. I've done this before but I aim to learn to do it in a more satisfying fashion than I've managed in the past.

Great topic!  I have wanted to learn more about playing with stun guns for a long time, and I got to toy around with one a bit this New Year's Eve. I'm planning on buying a couple and practicing with them in the near future. I also want to work on my rope skills as they are getting a bit rusty.

Florentine flogging.  Not likely to happen though, with my tendonitis but a girl can dream.  I wouldn't mind improving my rope skills enough to do shibari either.

Has it occurred to anyone else that we could all trade skills amongst the regular posters here if we could all get in the same room for a few hours?

I've never learned the Florentine flogging because I don't have two similar floggers!

The Florentine?  Or the shibari?  Spyder's got teh mad rope skillz, so when I have time, he's going to help me with that.  I'm not sure I'll ever be able to do Florentine.  The movements make my tendonitis go crazy.  But I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to do a workshop of any sort with you, LP!
 
I'm *so* up for DomCon...or the DomTour Bus that some folks have joked about in the RS threads.

Things on my list for this year are : Full body and head water immersion, kidnap and hold hostage for a number of days, experiment with torture techniques that don't leave marks and trying out some severe degradation.
