Addicted and proud to be a Cheesehead!

Wisconsin cows make great cheese.  Well not the cows.  I mean their milk.  Hmmmm...  Actually I meant the cheesemakers make great cheese.  Still doesn't sound right.

Obviously, this is not meant to be taken literally. Ms Starlett refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

For those Blue Cheese lovers out there.. try and get your hands on some Cashel Blue outta of Tipperary.. Having spent some time in Ireland I can honestly say their dairy is some of the best Ive ever tasted, from ripe chedders to semisofts their farm house cheeses the best...SD

I hate those ads! They actually rile me up a bit, I mean come on... California has soooo much to lay claim to and poor Wisconsin has giant mosquitoes and cheese.

As far as the enjoyment of cheese.. not for me thanks. Rarely find a cheese I like.

Thank you very much

I think we might have something in the UK that's similar to pepper-jack.  I came across one cheese in the local market called "Spitfire" - extra mature cheddar with peppers of all shades speckled in it.  I can honestly say that it's not just the best cheese but the best food, of any kind, that I've discovered in the last decade.

Heh. Okies. Wisconsin has:
beer
brats
cheese
mosquitoes.

Which is why California should be penalized, they have sun, surf and artichokes along with a billion other things. *nods*

I still don't like cheese. Hamburger no cheezeburger pleeze. (Pepsi, no Coke just slipped into my brain lol) Mac n cheese does have its place in the world though. Cream cheese..yes. Stinky cheese? Gasp. No.

The whole 'liquid products from cows to feed baby cows' squicks me out.

Feta.  I love plucking out the big crumbles, right from the little tub.

I'm with Greedy on the funny factor of those commercials, I love the foot massage one the best!  (they never last long enough lol!) But, having lived in California and having passed more than one dairy farm on my morning commute, alot of those cows are NOT happy.  In there defense, there were a few out there that were quite nice, VERY happy cows there.  I'll bet they got the good foot massages.

Stinky dark viened room temperature Danish blue cheese, with a glass of port wine. Cheese is the best food, ever. Mmmmmm cheese People who think cheese comes wrapped in cellophane slices or neon orange are so missing out!

I pretty much like any cheese as long as it isnt the mouldy one or whatever that is called in english...that's so not my cup of tea. Despite that I like all of them as I was never too attracted to meat (I eat meat, but not that excessive...)

personal note: don't waste much money on GT's wedding...just send her one cheese, that will make her happy - and as she is a slimmy bone...she can cope with a fatty cheese, so no need for light-stuff
If everyone gives her one cheese as a gift...that should make her VERY happy then...fine...got it

If she get's some cheese she doesn't like...she can then send it to camille...maybe that's the one she would like
