Howdy all.  Up until a few weeks ago being a Master was just a dream......Now I am.  A friend of mine and I were talking and somehow the subject came up.  Now im kinda new to this and I don't quit know what to call her.  Not slave as she does not prefer that term but in our agreement it was agreed that she would be mine......until such a time as either one of us decides to end our arrangment.  Calling her Sub isn't quite right either.....

Any suggestions.

Troy, I already addressed this on your Introduction.

You are NOT a Master.  You may well be a Dom. 

You could just call her "yours" when talking to kinksters and your gf when talking to vanillas.  But seriously, in the scheme of things, it's not a big deal.

Well, it may just be because I have an inordinate amount of love for Depeche Mode, but I have a preference for "servant" being used with "Master".

Sounds good to me.  If she "prefers" not to be called slave, just call her cunt instead.  That might teach her something about preferences.

Thank you all for your replies they help alot.  My conclusion is that as long as we both understand what she really is then what I call her does not matter in the least........and should not matter to her.

Crikey, what's wrong with the very simple and common objectifed term of "girl"?  It's what I mostly call mine and I even got many a positive response from my past nilla partners.... 
 
But the real difference is in the delivery (rather than the actual word) because tone and relationship dynamic give context.  Conversely, when some shop assistant calls me "Sir", it means practically zero but a lot rides on the girl getting it right.

Errrr, isn't that kinda like a vanillary "we both know we love each other so it does not matter in the least if we never say it....?" 
 
In an authority based dynamic, this kinda wishy-washy "does not matter in the least" attitude from you is gonna bring you a world of pain in the form of a disrespectful brat in no time - good luck with that.  Any fool can call themself "Master" but a sub/slave needs to know it and feel that it's real, otherwise they instinctively test the boundaries - which is not their fault!
 
Yorta rethink that last statement ASAP....

Of course it should matter to her. Your agreement said until one of you chooses to leave, that means by your agreement she still has a say. Just because she is yours doesnt mean that after 2 weeks you get all the power and she gets none. It doesnt work that way. You start using insulting names she doesnt like, as she doesnt prefer slave, then she might decide that leaving sooner rather than later is a good idea.

I call my boy Fox, I gave him the slave name when I collared him. The one before him was Angel, and he got his name around the same time. My questions is, why do you need SOMETHING to call her? She came with a name, and forcing a title or nickname never works out well. Just wait until something comes to you, and that will work.
