Status: offline 		I think it's just that time of year. Post holiday blahhhhssss. I just sat down to pay bills and the money ran out before the stack of bills was gone. I just keep reminding myself how fortunate I am that I get paid again next week. Somehow it's not working to put a smile on my face. I have a long list of things I should be doing instead of playing here.

Oh, and I have to go back to work tomorrow after a 4 1/2 day weekend. I also know that this next work week will feel two weeks long after two weeks with long weekends.

Then there is that stupid twit that called herself a slave that went MIA just two weeks before she was supposed to come here. I really need to start taking this shit seriously if it's ever gonna happen. But mehhhh.

It's cold and gloomy, windy and nothing green outside. Still lots of winter to go. I hate winter.

So yeah, I am just blahhhhhh.

Where is the chocolate?!?!?

Also for me it helps that i spent so many years learning to focus on the positive. Then when hubby, who could do anything, got real sick he taught me too to value what you can do. Dang he made the best scones dragging his oxygen around and everything. Life didn't get him down, and what a wonderful role model he was to me.

Now am fortunate that Sir is close to that as well. Just keep on doing and being grateful:)

Status: offline 		....the positive in life right now has been truly a struggle to find. my only brother was killed recently and my father has cancer. i dont sleep well at all, but before i do lay my lil head down and say thanks for even the smallest of gifts in my life. here recently a family of five in our state was killed in a car accident, mins after the strike of twelve. sighs..peace to you all in this new year encoming

We all have our own times when depression weighs heavily on our shoulders. Be it because we can't serve how we want, the current news we hear about the fighting in Gaza, the economy or whatever else we have going on.
 
The best I can offer, is we have all been there, it takes one step at a time. Releasing what we can't do/be for whatever reason, returning to our center, thanking spirit for watching over us and asking them to continue to do so and trying to focus on the positive in our life.
 
I wish you the best. Winter will pass and spring will begin again with a new opportunities.

Status: offline 		i like to go sit by the lake and let the waves soothe me.  when i was a baby mom would take me to the lake and read the letters dad was sending home from his tour of duty in the pacific.  i guess it's something deeply ingrained in me.  i can understand the depression, i felt some blues myself this holiday season, but i'm not going to let it get me too down, the good lord gave me another year to screw up and i'm going to do the best i can to not disappoint him!
