Depends on his mood, but I love wearing one.  It helps me focus on him and his touch - helps me shut off my mind and be in the moment.  It also keeps me mentally on my toes because I don't know what's coming next.  Delish...

Blindfold!

It concentrates a sub's minds beyoootifully!  It also makes his life full of surprises as the toybox creaks open . . .

I love blindfolds. They help me to take in the pain and to go off into subspace. It's easier for me to relax. The darker the better the deeper I go.

Sometimes I'm allowed one, other times I'm not...just depends on his mood and motivation.

I like blindfolds when we've used them - I've put in my request for them tonight. They really do cut down on distractions.

Both!  But I do have to admit to liking that blindfold!  I use an ace bandage so the whole process is long and drawn out... where I can take pleasure in knowing he is waiting... anticipating and wondering.  I can torment him a lil more before the torment.  But without one... I do love when his eyes go big and look back at me and I know I got him good!  Gives me something to go to sleep to and remember later.

Blindfold, please.

It deprives a main sense, which heightens all the remaining ones.  I'm left really in tune with the sound of his voice, the touch of his hands, and the wonder of what will come next.

Maybe my favorite.

I love putting them on the neighborhood cats then barking like a dog when they
sneak into the yard. Like having my own personal pinball machine.

It's that "Guess if it's a strapon, homeless guy, donkey, or hot fireplace poker
with my mouth" game my Dominants like to play that's a complete mind fuck.

blindfold or not? why?

I've always been a fan of blindfolds because it focuses the experience. Knowing that men are visual creatures, however, puts me on the fence about using them frequently. Depends on what I have planned that day

It depends on what I am trying to accomplish. I am unnaturally quiet when I move around in the apartment, so when Fox is blindfolded I essentially disappear. If that is what I am going for, it works out great.
Other times, I enjoys seeing the reactions and the looks in his eyes, in which case the blindfold is counterproductive

It would depend on the relationship for me. Wearing a blindfold is something that takes a hell of a lot of trust for me to do for someone, so as I'm not currently involved, it's a no until the time I am involved and have built up the necessary trust. I have issues with it which is why it would take that to try it, but I also have an interest in doing it....suppose that sounds weird put like that, but it makes sense to me at least lol.

I almost always keep my eyes closed anyway, but a blindfold takes away that choice, which I love....... however....

He only used one on me for the first time recently and I was a bit surprised at my reaction.  A friend had warned me that my reaction may not be what I expected, and he was right.

I had a moment of internal panic.  I was bound and unable to move, and now my ability to see had been taken away.

It took a bit for me to settle my mind, and it still does.  But once I do, it adds to the overall experience by taking away another choice.  The fewer choices I have, the better I am able to quiet my thoughts and focus on the experience.

I am very visual, and love to peek at my Dom while he is working on me.  His face changes, and I can see him planning the next move.  But it's sometimes a bit distracting.  The blindfold allows me to focus on the sensation  and accept what comes as it comes.  I love it both ways.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Frequency preference: just once in a while.

Everyone always talks about the pros of using blindfolds, but seldom about the cons.

I see three advantages:
- increased helplessness, which I do find exciting.
- aiding sensation play by heightening other senses (not something I'm really interested in).
- used on a sub left alone in bondage, it can help him relax and/or let his imagination run wild; I do find this prospect interesting.

How about the cons:
- Since I'm visually oriented (it's generally accepted that most males are), I lose my primary source of stimulation if blindfolded. Also, seeing what's happening to me enhances my experience and impresses its reality upon me. The oft-mentioned heightening of other senses does not fully compensate for this loss.
- Although others have said that being blindfolded cuts down on distractions, helps them focus and/or relax, I find that my mind wanders more when I have no visual input. Interestingly, I find this detrimental during play, but possibly a plus if left alone in bondage.
- Eye contact with the domme has a very strong influence on me; it greatly enhances the connection I feel with her, and heightens my feelings of submission. Blindfolds obviously remove that.
