Now Taxpayer's money is helping to pay for privately owned shopping malls?
I thought "big business" was the business of Republicans not Democrats!
People are right when they say there's not a dime's worth of difference between Dems and Repubs.

It's a donation to a charity... it's not like it's going straight into her pocket, or even to her party. True, it's her husband's charity... but even if it IS a thank you gift... how can you be annoyed by him donating to charity for it? Others have done much, much worse (such as 'personal gifts' and such) than a charitable donation.

If you're more angered by this than the donations by foreign countries then there's something wrong. Clinton gets no benefit from him donating to her husband's charity... all the money goes toward something, well, charitable, instead of to her pockets or the pockets of her party.

Popeye, taxpayers' money has been going down the hatch of private businesses from times immemorial - public dough is the key to success, in the best of capitalistic worlds. Nothing new going on there.

Well... the way I see it... keeping lil billy boy happy is important... keeping him from undressing under a desk and lil girls in red dirty dresses that build careers from a blow job where she didn't swallow... might have a thing or two in keeping Hillary happy.

Not to mention that it is simply wrong, wrong, wrong to take benefit, whether we can see it as benefit or not... for favors. That isn't what the American people deserve from their employee's.

True... but there's no evidence that it was:

a) A thank you gift (though it's highly suspicious, I'll admit)
or
b)Something she would have done without such incentive.

Quite the opposite, the various changes were meant to stimulate the economy of the state she as 'employed' by (which, to me, is something that the American people DO deserve). That was the over-arching goal... and it was achieved.

According to the article, the legislation at issue was written so that Robert Congel was one of four beneficiaries:

funny I didnt see anything here or anywhere much about the guy bush pardoned and then had to resind cos of a donation by the family...

Lessee....Senator Clinton uses hubby to gather a little payola....and now she's in line to be Secretary of State.

Given that the Clintons are known for selling out to the highest bidder, I wonder in whose pocket Secretary of State Clinton will be. With peace breaking out all over the Middle East, it seems a fair question to ask.

As for Dear Leader, one is known by the company one keeps. With such sterling characters as Bill Richardson and Hillary Clinton at his side, one has to ask, is Dear Leader the john or the whore?
