How was it that made You pick out Your name, was it someone who gave it to You?? Or was it a name that You choose???[:)]

Mine is easy, born in the 60's, my name is Suzanne, and everyone called me suzieQ from way back when.... just not sure if the CCR song was out by then or if it came from the Everly Bros..."Wake up little suzie" have to ask my Mom about that one... [:D]

well i have had a few names over the past 4 years they are:

painpuppy given by my first mistress

Cumslut (I used to say cumquat as a joke)

and squishy, well it always seemed that way, you know with sounds and all!

The name i use now theroebabe i have used for many years and it was my first real nickname given to me by a friend. It just stuck!

Mine was not given by someone, but rather one I came up with that was appropriate to this site....

Lasher as in lash her. Lash having good definitions (tie, whip, ect.) and with me being a straight Dom or Top (depending on your views) it seemed a good idea at the time. Really much better than what I originally signed up with lol.

I chose this handle for online interactions after my ex and I broke up. He gave me the nick luminary to use online after he collared me, which I still use it in somethings, as I like it.

I was reading a magazine in my doctor's office and saw the Japanese word, shoshin. It means beginner's mind, a student standing with an empty bowl waiting for it to be filled. It felt right, It reminds me to never think I know more than I actually do.

Why Thorns?

Honestly...online is the only place I use this name and thats simply because...well...as much as I like talking with you guys...I really don't want you all to show up at my house. So I maintain my privacy through the nic. (Unless of course you're there for the party and brought a nice cheese log, bottle of wine, crawling slave, or some other nicety...but I digress..) At APEX (Arizona Power Exchange) events, I use my given name.

I guess I picked the name because I have always loved roses. I grow them in my garden and they can be made into some wicked canes. I've had this name for about 5 years now...dont see me changing it anytime soon.

Actually, the original " Suzie Q " was done by Dale Hawkins in the 1950's. The Creedence version came out in 1968.

The name began as H3art, the "3" symbolizing a trilogy of events in My life that shaped and changed Me drastically.

However, in the local scene and online, I am known by many names, including my real one.

Laura, Ms Laura, Queen, Mistress, Madame, Goddess or whatever else I might *inspire* you to call Me.

Well my name has absolutly no thought in it at all! lol .... When i made my first BDSM name the site did not allow underscores or spaces so i made the 1st letter in each capital on the name i want WhisperdWishes which i did not think about being a sub and not capital letters until i slipped into a chat room and the moment i posted i seen it. Anyway i left quickly and wanted to change it real quick cause i didn't want everyone to think i was a Domme. ( i don't have a Dominate bone in my body) since i am a sub i went with subbie and then my nick name jenn.. which isnt really my name either but a nick name and there is a very long story behind that one! lol So my nick has no thought behind it and i have often thought of changing it to something more fitting but now that i have used it for a couple years on various BDSM sites its hard to change cause everyone knows me by "subbiejenn".

i know long and boring ... but Y/you asked :)

I was born in 1952, which is the Chinese year of the Dragon being born in Feb. I was also a Pisces, which fit in with the year of the water dragon the element for that cycle; Grey sort of tied in with dark water of the sea and age, Which I was feeling at the time, and it seemed all the other colors for dragons had been taken. It’s the only nick I have been known by online. some 10 years now.

I have always liked Dragons and have felt that like that Old Spanish restaurant joke, “the bull does not always lose in the ring”. That Dragons were better than the knights that went out to slay them. Besides I can think of far more interesting things to do with a maiden than simply eat them.(Licking my lips at the thought)

The only good thing I can say about Knights is at least they come packed in their own cans.
