You know ironically linnaea, When ever I see sugar free stuff, like sugar free ice cream or low fat ice cream I notice the supposedly healthier stuff has way more crap in it, like calories and fat, than the normal stuff. People fall for all these specialty ice creams, and stuff and the specialty stuff has MORE calories and bad stuff. Ice tea with out some kind of sugar though is just plain nasty to me lol. So I use splenda, It melts in the cold drinks better than even a little bit of sugar does and it tastes far better to me than a little bit of real sugar does. an every one says it's bad and icky but ironically when I asked my doctor once if they are as bad as people says he says nobody really knows for sure. I mean I am sure that they are a little bit bad for your health but I still continue to loose weight even though I use it on ocasions, so that I'm not worried about. It's my bad habits regarding not eating, and mostly not eating anything healthy and all the foods we eat are mostly processed and bagged I worry about. quote:
ORIGINAL: LinnaeaBorealis This morning before going to work out, I ate 2 pieces of toast with a little butter & cinnamon sugar. The cinnamon sugar is more cinnamon than sugar & both are organic. My usual breakfast is a cup of lowfat vanilla yogurt with blueberries & some kind of cereal. I'm partial to maple pecan cereals. I don't do "sugar-free" or "fat-free" products unless I'm making them myself. The artificial ingredients are so much more harmful than real organic sugar. If you're trying to lose weight, try to learn to live without the sweetness. When I was pregnant, I had to cut out salt. I never really went back to it, because I learned to love the flavor of the food. That's how I feel about sweet also. The flavor of the food is so much more prominent without sweeteners or salts. I can't even imagine what the hell fat-free half & half is!! Half & half is supposed to be one half cream & one half milk. If there is no cream, it can't be half & half by definition. Blecccchhhhhhh!!!!!
