Magnolia. Said By Jimmy Gator

GREAT MOVIE. Weird but GREAT

"If I could be half the human being Bob is at the cost of being a poof, I'd have to think about it. Not for very long, but I'd have to pause."

"ze fuel system es rotten, ve have gasoline all over da place"
and yes, the words are purposely misspelled

SteelofUtah -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/5/2009 10:58:05 AM)

DemonKia: It was Pillowtalk said by Jan Also a good movie and a full 180 from Magnolia

Vincent63: I have NO clue, so I will repost yours on this but didn't want to ignore Kia's

Kana: Actually the director explained that he was sure that the "Grade School" line would never make it so when he sent in the script for proof the line was "I want to have your Abortion" they said ABSOLUTELY NOT and he fought with them and said well then at least give us THIS line which is what they wanted all along.

As Promised vincent's quote:

SteelofUtah -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/5/2009 1:59:47 PM)

I was thinking Stalag 17 but don't remember a line like that in the movie.

God there are so many Poorly Spoken German Accents in 80's and 90's movies you would think we were having some kind of conflist with Russians and Germans at the time.

Steel --- Who Still doesn't know

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/7/2009 10:56:21 AM)

Need a little help here, Vincent!

DemonKia -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/7/2009 3:30:06 PM)

Vincent63: Kelly's Heroes -- again . . . lol . . . . . Somebody really likes that movie . .. . Which is fine, nothing in the rules about redundancy . . .

SteelofUtah -- Yeah, that sorta gives the breadth of my movie loves, from Doris Day & Rock Hudson to anything Paul Thomas Anderson . . . . lol

Okay, next one:

"A man who never speaks ill of women does not love them. For to understand them and to love them one must suffer at their hands. Then and only then can you find happiness at the lips of your beloved."

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/7/2009 5:25:37 PM)

Fellini's "Casanova", right? I've got that on DVD!

DemonKia -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/7/2009 5:30:42 PM)

Ah ha, most excellent, Panda . . . . & that you own it gives you extra points, that's a really great movie . .... Who'd a thunk to cast Donald Sutherland as Casanova, other than Fellini . .... (Well, other than me, Donald's still way hot, hotter than his offspring . .. . lol)

Okay, Panda, ball's in your court . . . .

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/7/2009 7:02:06 PM)

Yeah, no kidding. Not exactly typecasting, is it? Amazingly enough, though, it worked.

OK, I hate to follow up a Fellini with another war film, but this one's been stuck in my head like a song for days. So let's purge it...

"He's a great man. Whatever he tells me to do, I do. He sends message to the Home Guard; he says, 'If the enemy puts a foot on German soil, it is your duty to drive him out.' You are the enemy. I cannot drive you out; I have no car. So, I make you walk out, huh? Heil Hitler!"

intenze -> RE: What movie is this quote from? (4/7/2009 7:26:07 PM)
