V, I have to tell you. I like you more and more all of the time. [;)]
On the actual subject, whether or not I qualify depends on the perspective. In no time at all, I'll be back to one relationship that will be international (MisterP) and in a few months time I'll have an international dynamic with clip. Second time around for MisterP and Me. First time going through it with clip.
Now, you regular folks are already familiar with the fact that it didn't start out this way. That's kind of why I'm not exactly sure if it counts. I know they are both coming back to this country when the tours are over, so that part doesn't effect Me. I can relate to the pain in the butt that the time differences can make. MisterP is 14 hours ahead when in Korea, so chatting at length is rare unless someone is staying up all night. I'm not sure what the time difference will be with clip when he goes to Afghanistan. I haven't looked it up. I'm not exactly thrilled about it. I can honestly say it was hard enough when he was across the country.
I don't get the option of visits, so I don't daydream about them. That's one of the challenges. The other is the part of just living your life and dealing with the things you do without. Sex is one My libido goes through serious nose dive periods. A whole lot of things from the physical aspect things goes away. If I didn't play with others, I'd probably be pretty messed up in a lot of things. I'm glad MisterP understands that about Me and clip has accepted that's the way I am. Some subs couldn't take it and would have concerns about being "replaced."
I do get one thing that a lot of folks in the international game don't get. I get a specific end date. (Well, that is if Mistress Military doesn't screw that up, too.) I know it's not forever, but it can sure suck sometimes when it's in the now.
