Seriously... chill for a bit. This could just be me, but why the hell do you want to push someone to their safeword? If I utter my safeword, I'm not just in pain - you fucked up so bad that if you don't untie me RIGHT NOW and possibly take me to the ER, not only will you never play with me again, I'm dumping your ass and maybe calling the cops.

For me, the safe word is a very serious thing. I don't use it unless I need it because it needs to stay that serious. I've used it once maybe twice in as many years that I've been with Valyraen. And while I wouldn't be surprised at all if we get to the point where he is cutting me, beating me to the point of on-the-floor sobbing, I hope to never use it again because it meant something went wrong.

Again - could just be me.

Being a dom is all about being in control. Your next step is clamping down on that control of self.



Meaning the goal is not to try and force the sub to use her safe words , the goal is to bring her to the brink of pleasuree without her ever needing to use that safe word, if she uses the safe word it means you failed in your observations in reading her body and went too far, that is where controlling self comes into play.

I think this is just the normal newbie frenzy. Not limited to subs. Isn't there a public scene in DFW? You could join, meet people, take workshops, get a good rep as a safe player, all things that would help you meet people.

I'm not sure why you insist on looking for someone of the exact same religious/political convictions. He's very non religious in an aggressively so manner. I like my religion and go to services when I can. But as long as we agree not to debate it, no problem. He has no problem doing his own thing while I'm out for an hour. If the topic of the week was something I find fascinating I'll share it, otherwise just mention who I saw.

Huh?  You aren't screwed.  If your field is really that narrow, perhaps you are reacting to someone's acceptance of you, rather than the lifestyle.  You should be aware that many people who feel Dom(me) at first, find down the road that they don't, or can't, handle being a fulltime Dom well, and are really more switch or even sub.

More importantly, look for a person to build a relationship with, not a relationship to be fulfilled by a person.  When you find a good match, the rest will develope naturally.  And what more could one possibly desire than that???
