I haven't read the replies to this thread yet, but you are making a lot of general assumptions and applying it to the masses, on what I assume is based on your own perspective. That is always flawed. I am guessing you are kind of young?

You assume woman don't have a sex drive. You assume woman don't enjoy sex. You assume that sex is a mans domain. You assume women use sex as a tool. You assume 'power' is based around sex. You assume masochism is just about sexual pleasure. You assume that women pander to a mans sexual desires to gain 'control'. I assume from that assumption that you assume that sexual control is the only form of 'power exchange'. You assume woman 'allow' sex begrudgingly and as a compromise – I can only assume you have had some pretty poor sexual experiences.

Then to top it all off, you apply all these assumptions to a commercial industry, and seemingly trying to gain an insight into dommes/woman by doing so. That is called a self re-enforcing prejudice. Then you ask what is/is not ok about all of your assumptions, and then asked to be convinced otherwise – it isn't up to anyone to change your mind, rather you have to justify it for yourself. I am going to assume that you are not actually looking for debate, as what you ask is trite, and you know it is; rather you are looking for a rise.

Dude, there are many angles you are not covering, and explaining them to you, I suspect would be a foreign concept, that you would just 'not get' whilst you maintain this borderline Madonna/whore and the 'cock-is-all-mighty-and-the-be-all-and-end-all-of-sex' syndrome.

There are also many flaws in your own 'logic'. Just working within your logic for a second; Then whilst the men are giving money to these woman they are objectifying themselves also. Using your logic again, these woman are supporting these men, for whom their deviant and selfish sexual desires would have little opportunity or output without some other investment. Without these women, these men would have no one to cater to or support them. Using your logic, these men are amounting themselves to nothing more than brainless cock wielding fools who have to pay for it. So where is the 'real' power exchange there? I tell you where it is – there is none. It's commerce. It's supply and demand. It's equal opportunity business exploitation. Trying to find who has the 'power' in such a dalliance is a fruitless exercise, and trying to prove what exactly? What life affirming conclusion do you think you'll reach? That woman have no 'real' ability to control whilst they are seen as sexual? Well, that may be true for you – it isn't true for many people in this lifestyle. Certainly isn't true for me.

Lets be honest here, you are trying to use flawed logic to justify your own natural inclinations.

When I have sex I am in charge. I say that I want it, how I want it, when and how often. I have always been this way. I wear what I want (if anything) and play the way that I want. If the man doesn't like it then he will be shown the door, it is that easy.

Pro domme's in my view are NOT prostitutes unless they are selling and servicing their clients with sex for money. Most Pro's that I have spoken to never have sex with a client, their sessions are usually just a meet and beat and type thing.

Meh, I think it's just lack of experience on his part. I think the first time he meets a woman who isn't the type that he has got in his head (which in my opinion is really a smaller minority of female dominants, and really only those using the title loosely), he'll disregard all this garbage. My main concern is that these notions he has about women in general and female dominants in particular are going to completely drive off any potential quality women he might meet.

I think if all he sees around are whores, he's just made his dating pool. Hope he's rich!
