I did not think about the possibility that someone would always be in the home, such as in a poly household. That puts a new light on it. Someone within ear shot as well as constantly checking on the caged bird. Perhaps a camera in the room. something.That feels more safe and sane to me. I don't think I could submit to it any other way. It would not feel like the Dominant is looking out for me if he was not around or had someone around or offered a means to free myself in a pinch should something come up, like a house fire, earthquake, flood, home envasion etc...
