The examples that you have given of prices that are paid... the feeling of "sunburn" the morning after a severe flogging, residual sand from sexual activity on a sand-covered beach, a fee for attending a movie theater... these all have something in common that your situation does not share. Consistency of application.

If nothing else you can consider her being able to watch it as a reward for putting up with you. If you really have a sub, she should get an award for patience and understanding. DVR or TiVo or otherwise record the inauguration. Maintain your punishment (Punishments not maintained are meaningless) and allow her, when she has regained your permission to view television, to watch the inauguration. Davan

I've known um's of a toddle age that were too much for a submissive or dominant to handle... Claiming that as an adult one is too much to handle for one person is egotistical, delusional or unrealistic. Unless you are expecting them to lift and carry you... then I could understand. But an adult shouldn't be too much to handle.
