That having been said, what works for you and yours is between you and yours and as long as everyone's consenting, that's all good. I would think that giving him tools to manage stress better can be done at a distance and feeling that you are supporting him via such attentiveness would also likely reassure him.

Thank you Davan, for your response. I am VERY supportive and it was less than a week since we had been together, after spending a hot weekend away. So, it wasn't that I was denying it for the sake of it but because I didn't want relaspe to his old ways.
I received an IM telling me that he would do what he felt he needed to do and I quote, "regardless of what you think or feel".
I understand health reasons and the longest time he's gone without one was three weeks. I don't accept his reason. He goes to the gym and does other activities, he meditates, etc. etc., therefore this animate request is totally unacceptable to me. he thinks masturbation is the be all, do all, ender of stress. In the time together he got past that. Now all of a sudden it's a critical issue.
Ironically, since I have no way of truly knowing if it is a "health" issue for him, I gave him the ability to do what he feels is best for him but I told him under no uncertain terms I would not be a part of it and to keep it to himself if he does. Now he's freaking out because he wants me to control his orgasms. Go figure!
Who ever said being a Mistress isn't easy at times wasn't kidding. But then too, neither is being a submissive at times.
