and yes dream, babies are almost always good things.. but for very personal reasons, i wish she would have waited a bit longer... She is old enough, but in my family, there runs a hereditary disease, and i wish she might have waited till i have a chance to be tested first. i am in the middle of a panic attack and feeling so scared right now.. scared for her.. scared for the weebit..and scared for me.

and well.. damnit.. i will only be 38 when she gives birth,and thats WAY too young to be a grandmother!

i'm not sure what to say, suhlut, but i have to agree with you that 38 sounds way too young to be a grandmother.  If you need to talk or anything, my inbox is always open.  i'll do the best i can to help. [:)]

Great hopes for the health of the baby!....more importantly from someone who became a Grandfather before his time(in my mind that is)....you will go from reluctant Grand Parent to willing co-conspirator quickly once the child is there to see and hold. I was amazed at just how quickly the mindset changes for the better.

Grandbabies are the payoff for surviving their adolescent years! (from one in the midst of three adolescents!....pray for me)

i wont even say how young i was when my first grandchild was born! best wishes and prayers for you and yours. and when everything turns out ok , you will be glad youre a young grandma 'cause grand kids seem to be energizer bunny clones.

Congrats.  I made my ex's mother a grandmother at 34.  She wasn't too happy with me.  (Since she's WAY too full of herself, and thinks that She's way too young and beautiful to be a grandmother.  But now, she LOVES telling people "Hey, Do I look old enough to be a grandmother???"  So you will love it too! {Wait... That kind of sounded like I said you were full of yourself.  I didn't mean that at all...... :sigh::  I really need to find better ways to say things!})

Anyways, Congratulations Hun.... Lots of healthful wishes to you, your little one, and her little one. :)

Lady H. Her dad gave her a pair of grownup drumsticks to play with. [sm=tongue.gif]  I gave her a whistle and taught her how to blow it. Am I a great grandpa or what.
