I love being a Gramma! But I can relate to the shock I felt when my then 21-yr old son told me, and he wasn't gentle about it, either! (He called me and loudly said, "Hi Grandma!" I almost fainted, and then cried for days.) I was 47 at the time, and considered myself way too young..... She's 2-1/2 now, and the last time my son put her on the phone, she got all excited and said, "Hi Gramma! Are you going to come and see me???" God, I want to melt! It's going to be wonderful! [:)]

Congratulations! My oldest is at the age where he could make me a grandma sometime soon and I am thinking I am so not ready for that. But when it happens, it happens. Make the best of it!
