I understand your dilemma lass, both Lady Neets and I have a habit of giving second chances and my good Lady is oft seen as a soft tough which in the past until I stepped in, cost us several thousand dollars. It is hard when you are trying to help someone get back on their feet. Still I have memories of over the last ten years of a thirteen year marriage with my second wife of giving her a second chance; End result, one messy and vitriolic divorce, her doing her best to destroy all my social friendships and credibility and a small sum of some two and a half million dollars (Australian) in properties. Perhaps I need to have idiot stamped on my forehead along with the two reject stamps; one from Heaven and one from hell when on seven times now I have been given less than 24 hours to live… Even though it is still part of my nature to help and give people a second chance, I am a hell of a lot more discerning now and will not place my family’s financial security at risk. Perhaps you too could learn to be more discerning in affairs of the heart?
