......everything everyone has said about the man so far, well the good stuff anyway. The extra element here is in whose feet Ledger trod in the role. Jack Nicholson's Joker in its last incarnation was, in its day, a phenomenal act. As such a really hard act to follow. This wasn't just any remake. What Mr Ledger did in that context was, frankly, remarkable...and as such worthy of an Oscar nomination.
