Wow. I have a background in counseling psychology and while I don't consider myself an "expert" in sense of the word here, I think the only ethical, safe thing to do is to refer the questioning individual to a trained mental health professional, preferable someone who has experience working with people in alternative lifestyles.

We have met and have had sessions while he was living here going to school.  his constant talk on this subject is what made me start looking into it.  However, I would not do this myself or encourage him to attempt to do it on his self.

do you mean it happens still? because way in the past...there was Persia (perhaps Assyria ~Iraq)..not Saudi Arabia I think. Perhaps that makes searching for the subject harder.

Giving the OP the benefit of the doubt and taken his query at face value and not assuming its intended as a shock value post i would have to say its more than a little suspect as to whether its all the slaves idea or not(jury will remain out on that point)
However a cornerstone of my belief system is the old fashioned safe sane consensual rule of thumb in any lifestyle activity.

By comparison these are both very mild to the OPs query as neither would cause any real harm , ok it would be unpleasant to have an Xs name branded on your butt she could have had it cosmetically disguised.My point is that both decisions to refuse were based on what was best for her.

I believe if what you say is true then you really need to question your motives for not disarming his obsession years ago and also question how responsible you are being to someone that you are apparently responsible for?.

As previously mentioned your first port of call should be counselling and not a BDSM message board.

Since you will not do it yourself or encourage him either, then send him to see a professional who is qualified to give you the answers.
