Excellent question and perhaps at least a part of the answer can be found and is in fact at the root of much of the frustration and confusion that exist today.
The Lifestyle is a microcosm of society.
As modern American society has evolved, well defined roles changed.
Example: Many young men have been taught to get in touch with their feminine side, to easily display emotions, lacking in inner strength, unable to make quick decisive decisions they are not equipped to be albeit many want to be dominant. And they often frustrate the hell out of the woman in their lives
This coupled with the influx of willing “participants” has most definitely in my opinion changed and as mention earlier caused much of the frustration experienced and confusion.
