I prefer older Masters. I have met some Masters younger than the older Dom's though with much more mettle than the older guys. I guess that means it does not make a difference.

I am always attracted to boys approximately 10 years younger. I think its to do with where I am in my life mentally and emotionally (at least 10 years behind the pack :p). The thing is, none of my relationships with younger men have worked out yet. Should I blame their age ? Probably not, but it does make me wish that I could be more flexible and try and older guy. I have dated some, but anyone who reminds me of my father in any way leaves me flaccid. I want to overcome my shallowness, but in 9.999999999/10 cases, I can't. Besides, when it comes to D/s for me, I can't help but enjoy victimizing something young and pretty that can at least convincingly feign innocence.

I'm so conflicted on this topic.

On one hand, I want someone experienced, who knows his stuff, and who's been practicing (at the very least) SM play for a while...

this generally precludes those around my age. But I'm usually not interested in guys who are 6+ years older than me. And all of my friends are around my age, and I would only ever play with someone (with or without a romantic aspect) if they were a friend first.

But some of the most exciting things I've seen are offered by more 'experienced' dominants... usually at least twice my age.

It's quite frustrating.

i have been approached by more older subs/slaves (5 to 15 yrs older) than i have been by younger.
i get concerned if a sub/slave is over 50 (health wise) and under 30 (maturity). if they can prove their worthiness, then i may "work" with them...

I feel thay an older Domme, would have more experience, and understanding. Then again, if a Younger Domme needed a sub to train on, I don't see any problem with that. They could help each other, and maybe learn something from the experience. I am always learning something new.
