Yeah, okay - that figures. If the Republicans had plans in the works to raise sin taxes as a means of taking control of your life it would be headline news everywhere. When the Democrats do it though - you don't even hear about it at all, unless it's buried in a story labeled, "DEMOCRATS REALLY, REALLY CARE ABOUT THE CHILDREN" or something. hiyas Sanity, as I said, I just found out that little snippet, thanks for the links, but honestly I have my own issues with any canadian politicians for raising sin taxes no matter they be tories or libs. I know over the past eight years I have been visiting WV the price of smokes has increased humungously altho they are still cheaper than ontario.

In the uk, we have a term for it, its called "winding people up to take the piss" and some are better at it than others. When more shocking and news like losing 100,000 jobs in the first three days of the week in the US alone doesnt have its own post, Or that the SCHIP bill has only made it at the ass end of this thread, I cant take it seriously, and try to treat comments with the respect they deserve:) that or block them . It absolutely does not matter where the President of the United States sets the thermostats for the vast White House mansion, because Global Warming is pure mythological bull shit. There is no reason to worry about Global Warming ever again. Just follow the lead of the head of the Democrat party and just set your thermostat where ever it feels best, because it doesn't matter even a little bit. In fact, gas up your big old Chevy suburban and go on long Sunday drives! Crank up the AC way low this coming summer - and don't let your conscience bother you not even the slightest because it doesn't fucking matter. And woo-hoo - President Obama is leading the way!
