Cute idea. I love personalized plates - and without them I couldn't remember what the damn thing was anyway and it makes telling people what car to look for so much easier! I wish I had some suggestions for you but all I can think of is think very carefully about what you choose. I've had to write down my plate to get access to apartment buildings (big cities where parking is limited) so you never know who might be able to decode it!

I passed a car today that had BEATNVY (I can only guess beat envy) and I figured they were either kinky or a drummer or other type of musician?

MD is very generous to allow 8 characters. Have you checked on spaces and character order? Here in IL we only get 7 with up to 2 spaces. And we cannot have a number in the middle, only at the end. This rule prevents those of us in the Land of Lincoln (and impeached/fired governors) from enjoying many of the more creative choices. I have the one-and-only MOM E VAN (2005 Grand Caravan) and BEL AMI 2 ('99 Sebring Jxi Convertible). The 1st is pretty obvious, the 2nd is the name of our boat.

You haven't told us what model your baby is - that might help with the creativity.

NON WHITE - for the more racially concious
TRY BTN ME - Try Beating Me - either in a race or behind closed doors...
NON VNILA -
NOT VNLA - Not Vanilla, ie: kinky or not the plain white car it appears to be
BEAT THIS - Uhm, probably won't get past the censors...
BEAT ME - See above
LETS GO - Can be taken a few different ways
DV 8 or D V8 or DV8
KINKSTER - If you have a Jamaican bent, kinky has a different meaning in Reagea music

I like vanity plates and have one myself on my muscle car, it is the nick-name I was given when I first got into the lifestyle referencing my English accent, the Brit TV show Top Gear and Brit phrase "naught to sixty in xxxx seconds". I was named "naught to sixty girl" as a joke that rapidly got shortened to Naughty. So I now have NAUGHTY on my muscle car (some letters replaced with numbers). Appropriate in so many ways.
