Hello,.... "Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Sebring....no foreign cars for me".....well, guess what... 'ThatDaveGuy69'...until about the middle of 2007 or 08, Chrysler was owned by a German company, who subsequently sold 80% to an american holding and mangement company, titled Cerbius Mangement and Holding, ( which generates about 300 billion annually, or held in assets). Chrysler filed for the Bush Bailout give away money, and later asked for 5 billion more or else it would close it's doors. Now, with Cerbius as the major holding company Chrysler, with the German Co. at about 20%, Chrysler is folded in bankruptcy (and GM as well).....Fiat is looking to purchase both Chysler and GM. If the lady likes her KIA....so what.....if the Koreans can mange their affairs profitably...why complain? If Bush the lesser had poured the trillions of dollars into America, instead of his Iraq War, if the Reagan had not of pushed and achieved deregulation; if Bush the greater had not of pushed and (hand carried till the very final week of his reign) Gatt, Nafta... (a free trade agreement ?); could it be a slight possibility the USofA would not be in such an economic turmoil as it is now. Notice too, for the entire reign of Bush the lesser, all media and focus was upon the terrorist, the Al Queada, Taliban, Bin Laden, Hussein, protecting our HomeLand, WAR and Torture......that was it for eight solid years.....Now, not nearly a word, it is as if, it never happened and nothing is going on. No outcry for accountability, responsibilty for driving a once great country into the ground, and bringing the rest of the world with it...okay, Dubai excluded...the Arabs are doing good, they are inventive, smart enterprising people with an auto industry....say what? ...and gas prices are doing good as well. But, those Koreans, actually making it profitable to have a car industry....and some american bought their KIA and got a better deal than any american car manufacturer offered, excluding Chrysler, as when she bought, Chrysler was most likely German owned.
