Many hugs for you too, Lucy x I love watching the snow and people playing in it, but now that I'm a curmudgeonly 44 year old that seizes up whenever something cold touches me, I'm watching from a distance. It's wonderful to see/hear the kids out there playing, and some adults too, even now that it's dark I can still hear squeals of merriment and it really does warm the cockles, ya know. Brighton is so quiet, so many people weren't able to get to work due to no buses and a very limited train service, some shops were shut and the schools were out. I bet the kids wish it could be like this every day! We know that each year the snow is likely to come, even when it does (in the south) there's just a few inches of it, six at most, unlike that of those in the north that have to suffer blizzards. But, why on earth does this bring us to a relative standstill? Other countries deal with it, the world keeps on functioning, it has to. But good old britain gets shocked into a catatonic state at the sight of snow! quote:
ORIGINAL: Lucylastic oh that is so adorable, made me smile and a few things seem not so important:) Thanks Miss M, huggs ya, making snow angels yet????? Lucy
