Hello from Canada!
My profile says I'm in Vancouver but I'm actually on the island, ssh, don't tell anyone. I've only been on the site for a few days and, let me tell you, last night I had a nightmare that my computer got infected with layers upon layers of viruses from checking out so many profiles.

I used to scoff at people who seemed so confused, "is it okay for submissives to initiate first contact with Doms?" (c'mon, as long as you talk - who cares who starts the conversation?!) ... now that I'm actually trying to socialize... I'm in the same boat. I value traditions, and I'm interested in the history and theory and rituals involved in BDSM, but I'm so ignorant it's embarrassing.

Like many others, I'm hoping talking on the forums will form healthier friendships than... the profile stalkers and trolls.

There isn't a story behind the username. I think bumblebees are the cutest little fuzzballs and saying "bumble" always makes me smile (or snicker, depending).

Welcome to CM!!! Looks like you're a spunky submissive and I wish more submissives would initiate first contact as it shows they actually have a will and want to find that special someone. Welcome to the boards! Polls and Other Random Stupidity is a great place to talk and have fun while getting to know some of the posters here. Take a look around and jump on in *grin*. Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone.
The forums are so vastly huge they're a bit intimidating - especially when it seems so many people know each other.

And I think "have fun" is the best piece of advice I've heard yet, thank you
