I have been a member of CM site for many months and have approached numerous people whom I found compatible with what I am looking for. I typically send out a detailed respectful introduction email asking if there is any interest in pursuing further correspondence or conversations. With a few rare exceptions (3), the recipients do not even bother to respond with a least "no thanks", "go to hell", "not interested", or even "go-fish". It cannot take more than 10 seconds to make this courteous gesture. I guess that Ms. Manners has checked out from this site.

I usually do send a "No thank you" out, but some mails I simply do not bother to answer, if they can't show me the courtesy to read my profile or be polite, I think I do not owe them the courtesy of a reply...

Now if you would wildly email people or even send them snail mail, how many do you think would reply? Why do you think this site is different?

If you are pasting every Domme the same intro email, without even adding anything to show that you have read her entire profile and are interested in her specifically, as a person... Then there's your answer. That's why you aren't getting responses.

To change your result, you must change your approach.

many people are like that..but not all.you should have spent more time on the forum..less with the profiles. Works way better.

I carefully research the profiles of those with whom I try to establish contact to make sure that our interests are mutual. I do not do mass-mailing nor do I offer anything beyond what I have in my public profile. I write 2 or 3 paragraphs and not from a canned letter. Perhaps I need to participate in local groups in hopes of finding what I am looking for. I am not saying that this site is better or worse than others, I am merely stating that once one takes the time to read a courteous letter, one should consider at least a one-word response.

If the OP would spend some time here posting on the various forums, not only would he get a lot more exposure, but we'd get to know a lot more about him and his views.

Before you cancel, I'm not sure how long you've been at it, but there may be some factors contributing to your failures. First of all, I'm sure you're aware that strangely, submissive men far outnumber dominant women. (you'd think even vanilla women would WANT someone to do all their housework for free, but go figure) Its tough for all of you, and many dommes are so swamped by mail that even if they are well intentioned, they may just be overwhelmed, and not answer people for a while. Many of us have explicit instructions on our profiles to help us weed out boys who haven't made an effort. I am not accusing you of not making an effort, but have you been sure to read all the instructions of the lady in question ? Some of them are pretty detailed. It's usually a test. For example, I demand a face pic and politely written detailed email with no requests for chat. I also look for letters that make references to something in my profile to prove that the boy is interested in me, and not just my pic. I also tend to favor profiles that are filled out in a detailed manner, that tell me something about the person who wants to serve me, not just about his kink. You're probably already aware of all this, but I figured I'd brief you just in case you weren't.

As I said in a similar thread a while back:

I actually prefer a "no response" to a "thanks, but no thanks" email. Why? If they are truly not interested, then a no response saves me the time to open, read and delete their reply!!

many people are like that..but not all.you should have spent more time on the forum..less with the profiles. Works way better.

I agree with the above as only sgning in to make contact via profiles seems clinical and superficial.
Plus your coming across as a bit too me me me .
Reflect....re evaluate and act.

If you knew how many messages most dominant women receive you would understand. I do not wish to use my whole day sending responses to men I have not interest.

What happens when woman sends "no thank you" message. I will tell. She gets response asking "why." Now the reply mail adds to the new mail and inbox catches fire from overload.

If you receive no reply then person is not interested. Move on.

I sent away 7 pages of replies in 7 days. Most said no-thank you. I received so many replies to my replies, asking why or insulting me. I no longer reply to most messages. Some men were gentlemen but most only wanted what they wanted and cared not for my desires.

I am 250 pounds and very ugly. This is why I have no picture. Imagine how many messages the pretty women receive.

I make edit...
I change "a" in woman to "e"

We should keep thread responses on file for next man ranting of no responses. I think I will cut and paste save my responses.

Honestly, I'll answer a message from someone local who clearly has read my profile and whose preferences match my own. I won't respond any more to the individuals who just mass-send to anything in a skirt, or to the people whose interests (or hard limits) clearly don't match my own.

Most of the people I've met from CM that I really clicked with, I met through other local face-to-face opportunities.

I've been on here for years, not months, and I can't tell you all the time wasters and scammers I've run into...and I don't even contact, they contact me. You just move on to the next, and if it was really devasting, you take a break, come back and move on to the next.

I looked at your profile, it's empty...when I see that it tells me that they didn't fill it in because they are lazy and/or they want to "say" they are looking for the same things of the person who they are talking to, whether it's true or not. Either way shows lack of committment to me.

Second, did you send copy and paste emails? This coupled with no profile, might have a lot to do with it. If you can't take the time to write me something personally, means you are not reading profiles trying to connect with one person, you are mass mailing and you are just trying to find "anything" that will conform to what you want. I "usually" no matter what, at least respond with a no thank you, but if I have a lot of emails that day and I'm really busy, sometimes I just don't bother. I mean if this guy is mass emailing, he won't notice whether I responded or not, which is usually the case. More often than not, within two weeks this hoser is sending me the same exact copy and paste as he did before, whether I answered or not.

Just saying look at it from other angles...all I know is, bitching about it won't help. If you want to leave, leave, cut the drama....because getting attention this way is not a good thing, and not a way to find someone by slamming a whole group of people.

Sometimes I really do not check for weeks because my daily life takes over, maybe that could be the problem too? Or maybe you do sound a bit needy? I don't know if you do, just speculating here, but that could be a reason.
