I like a T-bone, rare with a baked potato, a lobster tail, and a spinach salad.  I'll have a beer with it or iced tea.  I don't know about it being my last meal.  I'd have to think about that.

Damnit. I'm hungry now. >:( No place to get steak (let alone a place to cook it), or a restaurant that makes it after 11pm!

Oh my god, I had an amazing steak today.  The neighbors slaughtered a cow and gave us a big hunk of it.  I took a steak, plopped it on the grill, and dear lord.  It was damn good.

Ribeye, kissed with fire just beyond the help of a good veterinarian.  A potato with the bottom skin a bit charred from the grill.

     Paradise.

Bar-b-que tri-tip, salad, french bread and a cold beer in the summertime.

AAAAAAAARGH!

*dies of hunger*

A nice strip steak, cooked to a juicy medium-rare, with just a smidge of ketchup and a few 'sweet and salty' spices. Mmmmm...

This all makes the vegan in me cry.. but sirloin? That's some cheap ass nasty teak. If you get some amazing steak, and marinate it, it actually is delicious and juicy cooked as it should be (nothing raw anywhere, eww) and chargrilled and black in places on the outside.. mmm.... And baked potatoes are better if you rub them in peanut/canola oil on very clean skins and are of the gourmet fresh organic variety, and small.. .. especially the butter yellows and such... and you cook them for an hour on like 450 til they are shrively on the outside and falling apart in the middle.. .mmm. =)

1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
1 clove garlic
2 minced shallots
1 teaspoon minced basil, thyme or oregano, or mixture
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients and let set for at least 2 hours before serving.
rub on the noms then broil to liking. mine until the blood pools. its amazingly good, and makes for killer roast veggie stuff too, mix with some broccoli and cauliflower and broil at the same time as the steak, be super soft and have an incredible taste.

I like a medium well porterhouse, sprinkled with garlic salt and grilled.  Baked potato rolled in EVOO and sprinkled with garlic and a bit of parsley.  Green salad with spinach, tomato, cheese and maybe some cashews and dried cranberries sprinkled in.  Sweet tea or lemonade...

Cold leftover steak is great on a toasted roll with cheese...
