Point taken, and a good point it is too. However by its nature the OP appears to continue with the stigma found in BDSM that elements of it are somehow 'sick' and 'nasty'.

Provided that they're not harming each other, and personally I can think of hundreds of different behaviours, kinks and fetishes commonly associated with BDSM which are carried out between consenting adults which do not cause harm, but which some in wider society might find unacceptable or disgusting. I might find them disgusting, unacceptable or ridiculous, but if other people involve them in their relationship and find fulfillment and happiness through doing so, then who am I or anyone else who is outside the relationship to decide what is acceptable or not?

There's more than enough people outside the community fully prepared to stigmatize those into WIITWD without being given assistance, unwittingly even, from people purported to be part of the community.

This was the point I was trying to make in my previous posting on this thread, assuming that this being an adult website that the adults reading this thread would be able to differentiate between the examples I gave and what is found in BDSM.

Between consenting adults I believe is sufficient enough criteria. I may however be wrong.

To answer my own question.... number one at least, I find most acts in BDSM utterly vile and repugnant. If not they are totally nonsensical at best. Eating shit, drinking urination, inserting pins and needles through body parts just to see what happens, desiring welts on the body from whipping or desiring to give them for that matter, torture in any aspect, cries of agony. As a natural dominant who is not a sadist, these are things I personally view as undesireable.  I can NOT answer question number 2. I can not get my mind around why anyone would equate torture with love. It is certainly not necessary for dominance even.

I would love to hear from others. I may check back eventually.

My issue with it is that some can not.  We are stigmatized.  Not just by those outside of our world, but even by some of those within it.  Look at this very post here.  While I am not personally offended, the OP is clearly offended by those activities that I thoroughly enjoy.  What the OP describes as vile and repugnant, I see as beauty and joy.  These aren't things born of hatred.  They are born of love.  It's not a type of love that the OP can understand, but it's love nonetheless.

Thank you, and greetings to you and your's too. I fully understand your point here and agree with you. I just saw it a little differently when I made that first posting.
