Read a lot here. Look at other profiles for ideas of how others are doing it. Fill out your profile - honest and sincere with what you want and how you can best serve a Lady.

Read profiles. If they say real life only (face to face only) or no cyber or no online), then respect that, and don't pester them. Nothing gets a "Hide User" button punched quicker than some foolish sub emailing me his Yahoo ID so that we can IM!

Read a lot. Think a lot. Ask yourself, once you know some things from reading, what seems to be the "path" that draws you? Be honest and talk about your vanilla self when you begin to talk to a dominant. Interact in real time with others in the lifestyle, get to know people, and learn what's reality and what's fantasy. You may find out that by watching someone do a certain sort of play that something you never considered flips your switches....or you may find that something you thought would flip your switch doesn't in real life. Be patient, and be willing to abandon your expectations when a relationship shows up out of the blue.

This really covers the basics. Treat it as you would meeting any person. If someone does email you read it, and then give them something that they can reply to.
