having a dom/me top both of you doesn't have to be done in a sexual manner. if the dom/me is willing, the idea would be for both of you to submit to his/her orders as to what to do to the other.

i can't see why some dom/me out there, somewhere, wouldn't be open to that idea... and they may even be willing to help both of you switch from time to time.

As for the OP, I think Dan Savage would say, "if you need a domination fix and can't get it from her, then at some point you'll look to get it elsewhere."

The same goes for her.

Do the math.

IMO this is a straighline equation (long term) to either: 1) poly; 2) cheating or; 3) repression.

It's all about choices we alleged civilized humans have to make in order to coexist (understanding sometimes the choice is avoid that with which we cannot live in relative comfort/peace); some days the choice sucks, and some days it's fun as hell. I know I'm never satisfied, so I try for contentment in a relatively good match, never perfect. M

Status: offline 		When you say she "turns out" to be a submissive it leads me to believe that either she initially claimed otherwise(in which case RUN) or that you never knew of her orientation to begin with and gradually came to the conclusion, in which case I can sympathize. Definitely no cure for this. As a few wise people have suggested, since claim that you are so compatible in every way except both primarily are submissive, you can't change yourself completely and stay true to yourself and to her. But you can explore with her and perhaps find some "switchable" avenues that work for both of you.

I've witnessed this happening from the side of the submissive-F in which she looked to her man for strength and guidance only to find he's submissive too.

This might be a case for you to consider counseling; otherwise, I suspect the long-term prognosis is not bright.

I've watched enough Doms in my life time to know
what is right and what is wrong.

If I need Guidance I'll know not to be affraid to ask.

What can he seriously do to make a change?


Maybe the submissive couple could both belong to a Dominant or Dominant couple. The first thing that comes to mind is the submissive couple sharing "servant's quarters" in the home of their Dominant(s).
If you truly believe it's a perfect match, I'm sure there are ways to work it out. It might just mean looking outside the box. :)
