Ahhhh thanks everyone for your good lucks and words of advice about trying to keep grounded... we've been talking non stop for 5 months now and mira really can't believe that it is now only a matter of weeks away...

slave can understand some of the posts about not really knowing someone or who they are until you meet for real - and to a certain degree she agrees with this... but mira also thinks that in some ways we know each other so well as that is all we have done for this time - is get to know each others personalities and quirks without the physical side blurring judgement.... this girl can fall in lust SO quickly - haha...

mira hopes that Master and slave are as happy as those of you that have worked through distance and are now together...

2 weeks today - yay!

First, what to wear.... Well, it's going to be a long flight so wear something comfortable that doesn't wrinkle easily. Wear shoes that would be useful in case of an unlikely water landing (obviously, those can happen) or in case of any kind of emergency landing where you may have to leave the plane on the inflatible chute. 6-inch heels look sexy as hell but limping out of the plane with sore feet and blisters isn't sexy at all.

While I have never traveled 'across the pond' my Master lived 500 miles from me and yes, I was so excited to meet Him in person. There He was, waiting for me when I got off the plane and I pretty much knew at that moment it could last forever. 9 months later I quit my job and packed my stuff and moved in with Him. That was 7 months ago and our relationship continues to thrive and grow.

How to sleep? Watching American Idol does it for me.

Congratulations!! I believe a relationship that is destined can work no matter what if you believe it can. The butterflies I get from Sir are like none I have ever experienced. I live about 4 hours from Him, but honestly..I would crawl to Him if He asked...I hope your meet is special and as wonderful as you hope it is. Let us know!

There is nothing stupid about being excited over the first visit. I am a Domme and couldn't sleep well before I met pet for the first time either. We're 800+ miles apart and it took 9 months before our first visit due to school scheduling. Before we met I was so overcome with emotions, excitement, nervousness, will he like me, can I stand him, etc. During the first moment I saw him I knew he was my One. As for sleeping its hard, I took tylenol nightime over the counter, 1 tablet each night so I could work in the morning. Try to stay focused at whats at hand, and good luck. This may be one of the most exciting moments in your life, keep a journal of thoughts, I did and I truely treasure them to this day.~Lorelei
