I've admiited to some other strange things in other posts.. things like watching a man eat something i cooked.. that turns me on.. and many other things also.. But.. i have NEVER mentioned this one before here...

and that is..

i just love.. LOVE LOVE.. a man that has nice teeth.. i sometimes will find myself just staring at a Mans mouth..intently watching His teeth slip in and out of view as he talks.. and have also found it can be such a distraction.. that i realize i have NO idea what he was saying while i'd been lost and staring.

DOOOD what restaurant(s)? I was desserts, plating, salads and the bitch that made the preps actually WORK! We had a very odd hierarchy going but a 400 top French Quarter tourist trap has to have its own little ways.

I started out as a dishwasher as a kid at a 4 star french restaurant.
Worked my way through the front and back of the house, prepping at 15,
working cold apps by 16
on the line before I was 17
Spent a bunch of years as the soup nazi
Then a few more as a sommelier

yup. I worked where st. Philip meets Decatur. Did 2 years pastry one Alsace one sud-Provencal. did my time front of house, but I had this leetle incident where i dumped some really mean lady's etouffee in her lap on purpose while staring her in the eyes... and back to prep when I.

As far as i know, our car has yet to turn up. It washed part way down the street (yes we lived on/near the lake) and into someone's lawn. then Rita came along and the car hasn't been seen since.

I bartend, and I'm telling you restaurants in general are as paramilitary as the medical field. Not only do you have to be willing to give/take orders, but you gotta be batshit crazy in order to survive. I personally love it. You just can't have as much fun in places that have HR departments.
