Stories like this really irk me. The police don't have any idea why "Travis" the chimp attacked the woman? Are they fucking kidding? It's a wild animal, not a little hairy person!
If you read down through the article, you see little moronic quotes like this:

No indication of what provoked this behavior, huh? Again, it's a wild animal. It's not a "child" or a family member.

You hear stories about this kind of thing happening all the time, but people still insist on trying to keep wild animals as pets. The people keeping this chimpanzee and any person keeping animals like this are selfish, foolish douchebags who shouldn't even be allowed to keep a hamster.
