I have read this entire thread and now i have a few questions of my own...lol.

I can see Auras and i can heal people by connecting with them. Also, i can sense when a person i love is in danger or pain, and whatnot. More recently, i have found myself VERY exhausted. i can even achieve orgasm by simply connecting with someone i lust for. So, does this mean i am a pranic vampire? If so or not...What am i? lol

Thank you, i was trying to figure out how to word it that just because you can take in energy that doesn't make you a phy vamp. kinda like having to recieve blood after an accident doesn't make one a sang vamp.

Here's the thing: No one can diagnose you with vampirism. There's no test for it. It's one of those things you have to figure out for yourself. I'll tell you the same thing I tell absolutely everyone who asks these types of questions. Go to a doctor and get a physical. There are lots of things that could be causing your fatigue. It could be as simple as needing a multi-vitamin or as serious as diabetes. There's just no way to know without getting checked out. You don't have to tell the doc you think you might be a vampire. Just describe your symptoms and let the doc figure out what tests to run.

After that, if you get a clean bill of health, go to a psychologist. Conditions like Seasonal Affective Disorder can cause some of the same symptoms. Figuring out whether or not you're a vampire takes a lot of self-examination, self-analysis, and the ability to look at yourself honestly without giving in to wishful thinking. Again, you don't have to mention the v-word.

Once you do all of that, try to go without doing any energy work. No looking at auras, no energy healing, no rituals of any kind. Do this for a month or so and write down any changes in your physical or mental health. After a month or so, try taking some energy from a willing partner. Record any changes in how you feel. If you notice a pattern of waxing and waning energy levels that affect your health, there's a good chance you're a vampire. Experiment with how much energy you need and how often you need it. Since you already know your psychically sensitive, you should be able to control when you feed and from whom. You've already got the skills to manage your vampirism, IF you're a vampire.

It sounds to me that you may be an energy worker. There are many. Psi vamps *require* the energy that they pull to keep up their quality of life. With out the exchange of energy they grow ill, and can have bad health consequences.

In a lot of ways, its much easier to get away with negative feeding behaviors when you're psi. What you do psychically to someone doesn't hold up in court, literally. If a sang, on the other hand, fed on the unwilling, well, there's all kinds of trouble. There's more negative behavior amongst psi vamps than you might think...and those give the whole group a bad name. Doesn't mean it's TRUE, of course.

Most modern vamps (and those that support us) that I know define vampirism as a NEED for blood, energy or both. Being able to manipulate and/or use energy doesn't make you a vamp nor does being able to connect with someone.

In my experience there are certain individuals who are both psychic and mentally ill and/or emotionally unstable. Those qualities combined can produce an individual who sucks people dry just by their presence and they can be doing it either intentionally or being completely unaware of what they are doing. If unware the feeding functions as a built in survival skill.

If you find someone like that who also has multiple personality disorder then the real fun starts.

This was pretty much me as a little kid.

I wouldn't declare myself a vampire of any sort, however my base state is 'feeding' or 'draining' negative energies from others (and I generally have to watch it).

Actually, it's typically quite high, and as a child I was relatively healthy except for asthma and early signs of mental disorders.

I've since learned how to control it, of course, and have even 'performed' it in intimate settings with willing donors.

Negativity is still a yummy treat, though. I don't know why I like the 'taste' of it so much.

I think for the majority of us, we have no idea of our potential, what we are as living things beyond the mechanical and chemical, the things that can be measured by the specialists in those fields. My feeling is we are more than just a biochemical machine, but thinking along the lines of science, the study of what can be measured has blinded us to the more we can be.

We hear so many people of all levels of intelligence, all cultures, and beliefs of past and present, people who talk of the immeasureable and by science not seen, but should we dismiss these things because science is the worlds current god.

At one time science included the study of the immeasurable, the spirit and science occupied the same area, surely that which many discuss, the hairy fairy mumbo jumbo should have a place, as it is that that concerns most of us, the thought of the feeling and what we as humans might really be.

I suppose a question could be asked, when a person describes the fantastical, is that description defined by thought or feeling ?
