No, they have them starting at a size "0" to plus sizes. Most of those actresses in those slinky gowns have them on underneath. I know Lady H. said she found them to create odd bulges, but I swear by them. I wear a size 8/10 and usually buy them in a medium.

I've seen Spanx at a "plus size" store called Catherine's- I don't know if they have them in Canada, or if they'd have them in your size, however.
Personally I like the way they look, but I'm a perv.
And self-lacing is easy if the corset is laced correctly, as long as you have good flexibility in your arms. You'll definitely want a "BOOTS FIRST, THEN CORSET" sign for your fetish wardobe, though

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 5:41:42 PM)

I think that's the secret, Aynne...  I am a trifle larger than an 8/10 these days!  [:D]  I absolutely swear by the proper foundation garments, though!

YourhandMyAss -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 5:43:04 PM)

That's a very nice sentiment, but it's not always true. Men can be quite cruel about women being fat or flabby,  personality plays no role in if those types are cruel and we know it. It also doesn't make you not a "best guy" in my opinion either, since It's ok to want  weight to play a part in attraction.

Plus, fuck the men* no offense and no pun intended* if WE don't like it, then we should do something about it. If baby weight is changing your perception of yourself for the negative, then that's a problem and one that needs addressing.

you women, honestly... Ok, so you have a little baby fat. Big deal. The best guys are NOT gonna care as long as they see your personality.

[No no, you put the corset on, and then when you're ready to walk out the door you lie on your back with your feet in the air and do your boots that way. [8|]

I must look like a upset beetle.

LOL Lynnxz - what a visual !!

Aynne88 -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 8:50:55 PM)

purrrrr, as a dancer, i had to teach the ropes to a lot of young mommies. the belly thing was a big fear for them. the truth is; 9 out of 10 guys don't care. in a world where much was illusion, these were signs that you are in fact "real", like a birth mark or mole. hope this can help [:)]

Also, walking will help the tummy stuff disappear.

I've never borne children myself, but I can say that rollerblading (when done properly) is a terrific tummy-toner as well.

ROFLMAO, I think we need video of that, Lynn! [:D]
Makes me glad a Mistress friend took pity on me and had her slave do the straps on my shoes for me when I forgot the "footwear, THEN corset" rule. [;)]

Vendaval -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 9:32:12 PM)

Yes, we do need that video!  [:D]

Let's see here, yes, Nordstrom's carries the Spanx products and you can order them Online.  http://shop.nordstrom.com/

FullfigRIMAAM1 -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 9:46:39 PM)

Lane bryant does cary spanxs as well, and might be less expensive than Nordstroms.    I banned myself from that store to get away from their shoes *stops drool*, and not dig myself a big hole financially.     M

lusciouslips19 -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 10:12:16 PM)

Dresses with rouching work for me. Also patterns that distract the eye away from tummy. Nothing like a great a-line. Hugging you at the smallest part of your body and then away from it. Of course low cut when they are seeing skin and cleavage knocks em over!

Vendaval -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 11:07:26 PM)

Oh yeah, shoes & boots!

Bingo, my subby brotha!  I also agree with the majority and recommend a corset to hide a little baby fat, if that's what you want to do.

Mistress may be curvy and squishy, but I love the way she looks, no matter if she has a little bit of jiggle or even a muffin top.  Now, in a corset, she looks like a plus-sized Jessica Rabbit...all boobs and butt!  Talk about lots of "personality"!  [:D]

BondageBarbieX -> RE: Body Image. (2/19/2009 3:37:50 AM)

 Spanx are the best all the celebs use them.:)

LaTigresse -> RE: Body Image. (2/19/2009 3:48:02 AM)

Just avoid trying to put them on, in Iowa, in July, in an un-airconditioned room. Oye-ve.

It was not my best moment. If words could kill, my brother and his wife would be dead for having a wedding on July 7th. And their reception in a building at the Washington County FAIRGROUNDS. What's wrong with some nice cool, air conditioned hall?

Fortunately all the words were muttered under my breath in the bathroom stall.

Afternoon Ladies,

I come to ask you all a question about body image. I am a younger Mistress and a mother of a beautiful 10 month old baby boy. Now my question is, Does anyone have any tricks or good items they use to hide the unwanted left-over baby fat?
The reason I ask is Im having issues now when it comes to dressing up, wearing those sexy things and well showing my belly in any way.
I dropped all the weight but te belly has yet to go away and I just want to have my sexy feeling back when I get all Dolled up for the night.

Any ideas and comments would be great.

Thanks!

LadyJenasighd.

Congratulations on your new baby boy! <3

Try to loose the tummy fat with aerobic exercises (keep away from anaerobic exercises at least until you loose some weight and your body is conditioned better). Try a cardio exercise, e.g., power walking, at a MODERATE intensity over a long duration -- 45 minutes to an hour. Minimum 3 - 4x per week. And if you can, do this first thing in the morning rather than after having consumed a day's worth of calories. Good luck :)

LadyJenasighd -> RE: Body Image. (2/19/2009 11:20:18 AM)

 Thanks for all the comments and ideas... But I need to point out... I issues has nothing to do with my husband saying things to me about my weight, he thinks Im still sexy..... This issue is not what other people think/say, its myself.... My attitude towards my looks have changed, I cover up and hide when I use to dress up on a daily bases.
The corsets are great for sexy wear and fetish appeal, but I also meant for normal day to day life. With a 10 months old I need to be able to crawl around and play, but I should still be able to look nice... right??? And also, exercise isnt the issue either, I go to the gym, I eat good its the skin, which I know surgrey well only make it 100% better, but I need to work off as much as possible before I go do anything that big, I just wanted some tips on how to hide it without hiding in my clothes.....

Cheers,

LadyJenasighd
