OP: I have a little something to add to that etiquette point. Since you seem to be coming from a school of thought that says a sub/slave is to do what their Master says, do you also believe that you are an extension of your Master's will and His diplomat to the rest of the world, that your actions reflect on his skills and worthiness to hold the title of Master? I ask because there are those that do come from that school of thought on CM and when they, the sub/slave "says" something in the Ask a Master forum, it is BECAUSE they are being their Master's voice and extension of his will. I know of no BDSM ideology/community that combines etiquette with a lack of reciprocity between the actions of the slave and the training of the Master. If there is one, please enlighten me as I am always keen to learn about new branches of the this life. this was the polite and PROPER way to address another slave in such a forum over a question of precedent and information unlike your little bitchfest attention whore act. And yes, those are my Master's words for your actions in this forum

If any of the previous post read the blog mentioned in her signature line, most of the "submissive's" blog consists of what HER desires, wants, etc. are. So, if it's all about the submissive, according to the blog writer, how is the Dominant dominant?

Well, according to her blog, men make the money and women stay home and take care of them. Not that it's wrong (give me a chance to try it out ;) but I would think for someone who feels this is the ultimate structure, his finances are extremely important.

He is a hottie and really creative, a writer, programmer, lives his life with flare and passion in all things, loves good food (from fancy to really well made hashbrowns) believes some amazing things and actually lives up to them. He can also cook, clean, sew, fix things around the house without duct tape, and cleans up real nice. Can you tell that i totally adore him?

yanno, perhaps if she read more non-fiction and less BDSM erotica, she might be getting a better reception on this site and be more at peace with this and other issues of gender, sexuality, and social norms.

It's a people thing.......No matter how it's expressed people will still be content with the people they're content with. You seem to be tying all sorts of things together that don't necessarily go together. Yes, I imagine it's a good idea to get along together but that often means that the things that you understand is not the submissive's business were all fine and dandy. I would point out that a submissive's business* is entirely her own. agirl

I have a whole journal entry about this. I have said many times in many rants. To me it makes them posers or frauds. And don't give me crap about personal preference, it's topping.

Not putting trailers parks down, lived in a very nice and exclusive one years ago. There some mobil homes that are to die for, especially when near the woods:)

It would be easy for me to say at this minute that his finances are none of my business but it's because he's responsible that I don't have to think about them. Its like saying your a no limit slave when you know your Master has the same limits you do.

Your understanding, is not every one elses understanding. I feel it certainly is my business about how financially stable they are, and how they are living. Finances and personal living habits affect a relationship, just as much sometimes asD/s compatibility does. I would never submit to someone let alone live with them, if they didn't have their life in control, and I didn't feel they were doing everything they could possibly do to be a sucessful and productive person.
