I read your journal entry. First off, PLEASE learn the difference between the words "dominant" and "dominate". The use of the verb in place of the noun makes my teeth itch, thanks.

Now, here's the thing. If an s type hasn't submitted to a dom, then she hasn't yet chosen, wisely or not. That being the case, she can't "top from the bottom" as she isn't his bottom, sub, slave, slut, or anything else yet. That said, I don't see an s having standards as demanding that a D submit to anything, but rather a way of finding a suitable partner. If my hard limit is a D's favourite kink, we just aren't a match- no harm, no foul. If the fact that I'm not interested in a partner who doesn't have a stable job and/ or isn't capable of living within his means is seen by a D as demanding that he submit to something, again- we aren't a match. Having standards is a big part of HOW an s type knows that she has chosen wisely, and that she will have nothing to fear once she has agreed to submit.
Why is that so hard to understand?
