Ok....so now taxpayers in California (a financially strapped state...maybe the most finacially strapped) don't deserve to have roads fixed?...and most of New Jersey could certainly use a Rotor Rooter job....How old is the infrastructure in Edison?....People in Atlanta pay an extra 2 cents on the dollar in sales tax to have the sewers repaired and I know Atlanta isn't near as old as Edison. High speed rail between California and Las Vegs....hmmmm.let's consider this....one of the hardest hit cities in the USA by this economic malaise....Las Vegas....the largest patronizers of the city come from where?....but, Lord knows we wouldn't want to confuse with facts! or logic when your political leanings seem to determine each and every one of your posts. There are part of the plan that deserve attention....the ones you chose are not great examples.

I have sent numerous emails to Fox to complain that they are too dern "balanced" in their newscasts. I want to see more informed "commentary" instead of news such as we are lucky to get from a Wolf Blitzer on CNN, or that perky little gal on CBS..Kathie Couric, and that nice young man Anderson Cooper, Goria Vanderbuilts' youngest child. , . Thank God I can be told what I should know by these "journalists". Shame on Fox! Off topic, in this thread we`re talking about the congressional approval ratings,something constantly referred to by the rightists,......,lol, till now. A couple weeks ago I was watching one of Blagojevich's statements being shown live on Fox. Now, keep in mind this was not a commentary, not a talk show, but a live news broadcast. The news anchor kept inserting voiceovers throughout mocking and criticizing the governor. Now I'm no fan of Blagojevich, but that was the most juvenile and unprofessional thing I've ever seen. Fox is the media arm of the GOP.The two meet and conspire weekly, to craft a single message and then mislead America and poison the media stream with right-wing spin. They do not produce a single peace of news or break stories or investigate.Nothing. Fox just comments on,spins,distorts,partially deletes (and makes shit up,ie,lies) about news stories from other outfits. They sit,wait and throw bricks when the opportunity pops up,but otherwise produce nothing on their own. "Fair and Balanced" is a cruel joke they play on America.Another joke they played on America,....bush.

I watch Pat Robertson and watched Falwell just for the train wreck entertainment value.Same with Rush and the rest. I`m part of those numbers, too. I also heard a guy from Nielson say that more than half the people who tune into Rush,listen for less than 60 seconds(on average),which meant they were channel surfing and not on board with the Rush`ns. Those folks, are also counted by the Rush`ns,as ditto heads.They`re clueless and won`t admit this anyway.It`s automatic.

I rarely bitch about Fox News....I simply change the station....It is as biased to one side as you always claim the others are to the opposite. I find Hannity and O'Rielly to be beyond belief but, they aren't news reporters and if anyone thinks they report anything aside from their own views then they have serious issues. I hear much more "bitching" from those like you who only see everything through their own "right" bias. Fair and Imbalanced would be a bit more in tune to their programming as far as news goes I much prefer CNN Headline news and reading newspapers. I wouldn't put such habits as news watching in such personal terms and if you ever catch me watching Fox News call the cops...I have been abducted and replaced by an impostor.[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m9.gif[/image] Old Rupert was smart in hiring Ailes to run Fox and to tune into the paranoia those who watch the station seem to feed on. When the show was hannity and colmes nobody could rationally argue the democrat side wasn't presented equally. Even in its current form of just "Hannity" the panel usually has 2 liberals for the all American panel. This is very unlike shows on MSNBC with hosts such as KEITH who just about always refuses to have someone he disagrees with him on the show. The most recent example had him saying they can buy air time for commercials on his show to air there opposing POV.
