I agree with SM... thanks for that kiwisub.

We have always been extremely careful and if you look at my profile pics you will see I have a full medical room that is always fully cleaned before and after use with HabTab solution. We already follow all those guidelines on being as sterile as we possibly can and so far, touch wood, I have not had a urethral infection.
Before I got into sounds, which was some years ago, I took direct lessons from a Urologist and was made well aware of the complications. I do believe that hygiene wise we are much safer playing within our own medical space than in a UK hospital.

Well I for one, really enjoy administering urethra sounds treatments, only on males, yet I would love to try this on a female someday. Regarding males, I administer my sounds, rosebud and pratt, and also electro on an erect cock also, not only flacid. Really? I would have thought that sounds are quite popular... Infection, scaring of the urethra, incontinence and let's throw death in for good measure. Those are the potential problems with urethral play. The more you play and the larger you go, the greater the risk of developing unwanted “leakage”. A sterile technique is always a good idea, but because the potential for infection increases when the bladder is involved a sterile field is a must if going that deep. It’s really easy to tell when you've reached the sphincter muscle because it causes a strong sensation to urinate. I can't imagine this being pleasureful at all, since the times when I've gone to have STD screenings at a clinic, the feeling of a urethral swab was like a needle in my cock.
