Vanilla is a spice used to enhance many baked (or half baked) goods. It even enhances chocolate. Dont discriminate against vanilla. Just dab some behind your ears and watch your loved ones devour you!

Wouldn't we be great dinner guests. She would surely keep me entertained and intellectually involved? I'm sure the dinner table would be too. [:)]

I have enjoyed all parts of this post.

vanilla is that that is ...the untrusted.
There is that element depending on where you are or your situation - Vanilla's don't know "the rules", reasonable discretion, etc. - though to be fair, not all kinksters do either.

Ideally, it's a "soft" label, i.e., "one who has not yet learned the joys of domination and submission" - in other cases it's decidedly more antagonistic, ranging from the more common and slightly condescending term used among magik practitioners of various stripe, "mundanes", to the less ambiguous "religious psychos".

And Vanilla is indeed a rich and complex flavor all it's own, I have nothing against it personally at all, why would I? It's a free country, and if they're happy, I'm happy, since it's usually the miserable ones who feel like they have to take it out on everybody else.

There does need to be another word perhaps, to distinguish Vanilla antagonism, i.e, those who engage in active slander, attempts to push legislation, etc. - Vanilla is too good a word to waste on them - and those who merely enjoy more conventional activities and relationship styles.

Define vanilla go on go on...
oh alright then....
I think that vanilla is that white cool gloopy stuff that usually gets all over ones dress at the cinema or dribbles out the end of the biscuit when the room grts too hot.
It has a sort of sweet taste when it's the right taste but kind of tastes really off when it's not.
I prefer to suck at it as we say in Britain.

PS I'm at Stella's and this is Prinsexx btw. Sorry if it's not her usual inimitable style.

I'm really not trying to generate paranoia here, it's the marketing of paranoia I oppose, i.e., dualist premillenial attempts to define "normality", I consider all human behavior "normal", some just works better for some than for others.

Much of my paranoia is more like disgruntlement regarding the "militantly normal", i.e, those that wear their mediocrity on their sleeves: we all have our mediocre moments, can't be on all the time, but the whole "I'm normal" thing, i.e, the implication than I am therefore something less than, is a thing I find particularly annoying, as it asserts a normative that technically only exists as an abstract social construct.

It is rather my desire to explore diverse paraphilia, in a sociable way, rather than get caught up in somebody else's bizarre shopping or football fetish - the orgiastic Dionysian frenzies of the Shoe Sale are a fascinating ritual to observe, but I hesitate to participate for fear of being torn limb from limb. Similarly, the drunken rioting of the sports enthusiast is a thing I also prefer to observe from a safe distance, as it no longer holds any mystery for me, even if it is mostly the memory of one, long, throbbing hangover.

Double post.

Sfortzando -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/22/2009 10:55:15 AM)

Oh, almond would totally work. I've got this shea butter hand cream scented with sweet almond, and it's absolutely delicious! I smell like icebox cookies all day.

Sfortzando -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/22/2009 10:57:00 AM)

I'm sure we'd have a blast!

roland23 -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 9:59:43 AM)

I seriously hope this is meant to be tongue in cheek. Really? No black underwear?

GreedyTop -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:13:15 PM)

well, I dont do bondage, and I dont wear black underwear or other lingerie (just plain old underpants and bras -usually made of cotton blend), or high heels.  So I must be only a LITTLE bit not vanilla! LOL

Sfortzando -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:16:01 PM)

Oh my god! You don't wear black lingere? You're VANILLA!!!!1!1one!!!

GreedyTop -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:18:02 PM)

Sfortzando -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:35:00 PM)

That's it - your membership at Collarme is hereby revoked! Please turn in your secret pass card, all of your forum status points, and bend over so we can tattoo the vanilla icecream cone on your ass. You vanilla, vanillay vanillaface!

GreedyTop -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:37:58 PM)

*sobs*

eta:  do I get any points for LIKING getting tattoos?

Sfortzando -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:46:27 PM)

Well I dunno. I suppose tattooing could be considered part of 'kinks of any kind', but only if it's actually a kink, and not something you just do for fun.

feydeplume -> RE: Define Vanilla, Go On ...... (2/23/2009 8:53:46 PM)

sure tats are a kink. why not?
