Some people like their BDSM serious and I guess some people like their BDSM comedic. I happen to like my BDSM fun. If the Mistresses are laughing and having a good time, it excites me the most.

How do others like their BDSM?

More seriously:

I want to have fun! I'm not looking for serious time or serious-face. To me relationships (in general) are meant to be *fun* and *enjoyed* between the two parties. I honestly can't even imagine being happy or enjoying a situation where it was 'serious business' for too long. I likely wouldn't be interested for too long in a relationship where I must always address my partner as 'sir' and follow a strict set of guidelines and rituals every day. I want to feel the freedom to laugh, to curse, as well as feel a dominant hit me till I'm raw and need to rest. I want to hear him laughing, praising me, and scolding me (playfully) for things that don't necessarily matter in the scheme of things. I want to be able to tease (playfully) anyone I'm hitting and feel free to giggle and laugh and not ruin it for them.

It's not worth it if it's not *fun* to me. The one thing I can't take is crying. I don't *WANT* to make someone cry for any reason, likewise I don't want to cry (usually. There are some times when I really do feel a need to be beaten till I cry, though that's a different thing altogether, not to be confused with something I would be looking for at all frequently... and usually at those times it DOESN'T take a ton of pain or activity to do it)

That's my brand of BDSM. Some purists would say it's 'bedroom BDSM' but I really don't agree (I mean, I don't find beds particularly conducive to most pain activities... maybe it should be 'living room BDSM' instead?), but then again, who DOES agree about *anything* when it comes to BDSM?

Laughing, definately laughing. Granted, there is a time and place for serious... but I love to laugh and I can be serious and still laugh, it's not gonna blow my dommly rep, right?

Both light and dark have advantages. I wouldn't want to be limited to one. I like a mix. All options on the table. Sincerity is the important quality.

We just live our life. Sometimes it's filled with rough going, other times we've had easy sailing.

Although the other week he had me all tied up and was doing evil things to me, while watching Blazing Saddles in the background. Now that was funny!
