Whatever you plan, try for the "out of the ordinary" feel

That's what an anniversary celebration should be about, remembering the past,
and welcoming the new with the something out of the usual routine....

but, that's just my opinion.....

I *adoring MissMorrigan*  damn that is so romantic!

Why thank you, Mr Bear, and I am adoring those knees of yours (please call me Morri or Janie... the only people that are formal towards me are my postman and those who feel my firm grip on their apricots).

Reality and I are so different, he's a geek and doesn't quite get the romantic connection... he's very direct with his speech. So yesterday I said to him (trying to drop a not-so-subtle hint), "Ooh, my birthday is on Sunday and I would LOVE some flowers!", to which he replied, "Oh, we get the shopping on Saturday delivered, we'd better put some on the list!"   It's a good thing I know how his mind works so as not to take offence! lol

Now, see, I can understand Reality's response - both Lumus and I are on the geek side though he seriously out-geeks me as bad as I am. This is why I had to ask for ideas and thoughts because the practical nature here kinda out-weighs the romantical side. We have our moments, that we understand, but if someone is looking for wine and roses, uhhhhh, this is the wrong house!

(Now the occasional Crown Royal and movie is another story...)

As for so far today, he was woken up nicely, i hope and has a little personal note in my best (especially for being written at 6 am!) writing tucked into his lunch. We'll see how the rest of the day goes.

Aww, that's so sweet. Happy Anniversary to you both, here's hoping it'll be a lovely day... it started out perfectly!
