i read over and over from the Dommes how dissatisfied they are by the one line replies, lack of retuning replies and so on. There must be many subbies like this and for them many seem to have to suffer.

BEFORE i ever reply to a Dommes profile, i Always read it in its entirety. take a moment to think about it and many times realize from the profile we will never be compatible...i may not fit Her criteria... which is good and fine...time saved and a Domme not having to read from someone She has stated She does not wish to hear from; too far away, too old, not into the same kinks as She is or any number of reasons.

The few that i do respond to , i always write about where i live, age, divorced, what i liked about Her profile, try to describe my interest and how i feel Her profile has drawn me to Her.

This actually takes time...i do Not send a form reply. i care about this and respect the Domme and feel She deserves my best.

Very very seldom do i get ANY reply at all... not even a "Thanks but No !" The majority of replies i get are something like one or two words often misspelled, unpunctualized and make me glad We are not meeting in person.

While i realize NO Domme has to ever respond to any reply...if You are going to why not be informative, describe what You wish the next step to be... do You wish to meet for coffee, lunch or anywhere in Public, continue to reply here, Im, phone, etc. there are so many options and when i get a reply saying "More" i am gone.

Having ranted i must say there are those who DO take time to thoughtfully respond, one in particular i met on site has been in communication with me for over a week, postings, Im's, phone. She is very busy yet She takes time to reply to me. She describes Her life and asks about mine. We joke and laugh and hope to meet and She is Human as well as humane.

Please Ladies if You do actually get a well written, thoughtful reply; Please, Please, Please take just a moment, if not interested to say "No Thank You". Doing this would actually make Your life easier because then You would not get follow up postings asking if You actually received the first.

Ladies, i promise if i send You a reply to Your profile i will be respectful, informative and respond to YOUR profile and provide You the info You request.

Please i beg...reply

If you do not get a reply.... be thankful to the fact of knowing.... your time will not be wasted with one who really isn't interrested... they're just bored, and you posted at the the right time to free them of their boredom.

Ok i just need to stand corrected on one part of my post here. I was just reading another post in another section and noticed a sort of lashing out towards newbies. What I mean is for asking the same things over and over. Or startng new threads that were covering the sam thing 2-4 threads ago.

This board to my opinion is people to come and speak their thoughts and opinions on certain matters. Most newbies to not know to look back to previous threads to seek out information. Some want more newer opinions on things. Some peoples opinion on a certain matter very well may change from one thread to another due to some experiance they have encountered.

If we went back to other threads, there's would be hardly anything new on here to even talk about. Most of if not almost all areas have been covered on this board before. Not once, but 5 times or more. What keeps it interresting is the newbies that do come on here with their new ideas (to them anyways) and thoughts about things.

So artglfr.... I see you joined in April 2005.... you have like 17 post. You either don't read the boards.. or keep opinions to yourself. Either way..... I am sorry and I stand corrected on the beginning of my post. As for my response... i still say be thankful... LOL

I never really thought about this much until I came here to CollarMe. I must admit that on other sites, I often ignored unsoliciited email. But maybe the manners are better here :) or everyone is more sensitive. Anyway, I decided that if I get an email of more than 3 words (i.e. not "Hi Mistress" not "can we chat?" not "how are you"), then I will respond. Now this means that if someone writes "how are you today" then by my own rules I must respond, but oh well. Rules are rules, even when I make them up myself.
