OK OK OK all of you...Feline will realize the humor in what she's said once she grows up and away from her childhood and gains some perspective on the matter. Feline: Toys and childrens shows are supposed to be silly, silly!! What child wants a practical and serious file cabinet for their birthday? Or asks mom if they can watch CNN for just another 5 min? My daughter(5) has 2 Bratz dolls, given to her by a family member with no kids. I personally wouldn't waste my money on such trashy toys. However, I do allow her to have them and choose to teach her something from them. I also teach her lots about getting her boosts of self esteem from her own accomplishments and basing her self worth on her insides and not her outsides. Dressing or doing anything else for that matter, for the attention and approval of others is discussed and discouraged in our home. I also have a step-son(6) that has a passion for weapons. Mainly because they are forbidden at his other home. He is allowed to have them and taught to play with them in a responsible manner. What happens though, is that he buys them, plays with them the first day, and then is back to his dinosaurs, which by the way does NOT breed familiarity with the dangerous and deadly beasts. Just as we all have the ability to change the channel on the TV (or, Goddess forbid use the On/Off button) so we also have the ability to censor the toys that our children play with. IMPO the dolls pictured by the OP are most likely found in the collections of pedophiles and less likely in the hands of a small child and that's probably an indication of the designer as well.
