I'm thinking that this post by LaTigresse from nearly 3 years ago is actually quite timeless...

with much humour and just a wee bit of old crone advise........for those that give a shite

take a BIG step back from the computer

keep the real life drama in real life

Whe you put your real life drama on a public forum board you are opening yourself up to all sorts of negative stuff for many reasons.

a. very few people take internet drama seriously.....they come online for entertainment......drama they get too much of in their  daily life already
b. very few people will know the "whole" story and base their points of view on small pieces they have seen
c. many people are not nice, sadistic, and basically do not give a shit about your problems, do not care who they hurt
d. many people do not care, everyone but them is just a silly made up name on a computer monitor
e. it is far better, smarter, healthier, to keep personal stuff, personal.........example: phone, email, IM land, face to face conversation..... AKA: do not give people ammunition to be able to hurt you unless you are willing to take the hurt and laugh

DISCLAIMER: This is in NO WAY an attack on any individual factual or fictional. Just some advise from someone that has seen far too many people get hurt.

Now, go play with a bubble maker or something silly and fun

I'm thinking it must suck to be Morri right now.

You're not kidding, DotarSojat. At least I had a little respite and humour on April Fools

I'm thinking that tomorrow is Friday...that's the day I reward myself for going to work every day and stop at Panera on the way in for hazelnut coffee and a bagel.  Yummy down on that!

O.o     Hmmm... I have been known to be both, however, I think I'm more silly.  So, if Holly has no objection, I'll be silly.

it is great advise, especially if youre thin skinned,,,but sometimes i enjoy feeding the trolls and watch them trip all over themselves in a ridiculous attempt to get to your scraps

I'm thinking that I am not used to being home so early on a Friday night.  I'm watching Wife Swap all by myself, playing on the computer, and hoping that I get to talk to my sexy Master again soon...

I'm thinking that the one woman on this show is simply insane.  I can't even imagine having to keep a schedule like she expects her family to keep.  She also has crazy eyes.  That's a sure sign of insanity.

I'm thinking pure would really like a double chocolate (white and dark) swirl.  Or I could just be projecting my likes onto her.

I'm also thinking that my head should not be feeling like it is going to explode.  I think I need to get my Rx before I have a real mess on my hands here.  (brain bits and such spattered all about the room will just add to my list of domestic chores that I'd rather not do)...
